usually one does not need to ask that on Explorer Town True enough, but there's always that one in a million instance. I think we're up to around 999,998 so i thought I'd ask.

since he doesn’t strike me as the type of guy who could keep a union honest I don't get this. Have you ever met or talked to him? Yes. Why do you question things you know nothing about?

The school has a big donation from John Glaser they are sitting on and need to have a project in place by 2022 or 2023 I believe. If they don't they lose it and La Salle would be stupid to let that happen so this project is closer to being ready to go than many believe. Ironically that money sat multiple years under Brennan’s tenure when he reeled that money in. It’s been sitting in the boat for years. Now the string is about to run out and it will get spent and The Northwestern guy will take a bow. SMH

Chicago Unions make Philadelphia look like amateurs. Their reach is easily into Evanston for major projects like what Northwestern produces. This guy certainly had to work with them. Not exactly but You missed the rest of my point. NW has deep pockets from media, private equity, hedge fund, option traders and entertainment alums. They make up shortfalls with relative ease. We don’t have that. Big difference.

The Athletic is reporting that the current Deputy AD at Northwestern is expected to be named AD at Kansas today. Northwestern is also searching for an AD. The former AD left a few months ago to become ACC Commissioner.

In today business, money talk and money is king. If Northwestern University offer Baptiste the AD job, he more likely to accept the AD position. Northwestern University have deep pocket and more money than Lasalle. Northwestern University is in a power five conference (Big Ten) and one of the top academic University. Mr. Baptiste use to be the former deputy AD at Northwestern and this be an easy decision for him and his family to return back to Northwestern. Northwestern will pay Mr. Baptiste 3x more than Lasalle is paying him. Money talk and BS walk.

Unfortunately La Salle has been bottom feeders for so long, it does not matter who is the AD.

Can't fault him for looking if he has a chance to go. He has no ties here. The person who hired him is leaving for Xavier, he will have an interim boss for 12-18 months, and then a new boss. A lot of unknowns there about for whom he will be working when he has a chance to control his own destiny.
