That would be a weird situation for Ryan Daly, probably the first time a basketball coach has ever followed a transfer to their next school.

Odom can get a better gig. Some think he is the guy at Wake when they can Manning. His dad runs a search firm. I know Neptune was at Niagara with Mihalich but don't think he was at Hofstra with him. Could be wrong. Herenda is a good guy but that would be a bad hire - you basically hired him because he makes 1 tournament.

Can't recall the kid off the top of my head but a kid left Vanderbilt for Pitt and then a year later Stallings got the Pitt job

St. Joe's Assistant, Monte Ross, was the UD coach before Ingelsby. Maybe this was one of those trades with a player and a coach to be named later. Then again a decade ago Juwan Carter transferred from St. Joe's to Delaware.
Jimmy Whispers hears things. Now we have to get him to spell things.

Love you, Jimmy. I heard that Jack Swarbick (ND AD) is totally bumfuzzled that the Irish lost Jill Bodensteiner to St Joe's. This set ND back.
On another note, glad to see an Irishman quoting Italians this close to St. Patrick's Day. Top o' the mornin' to ya, jimmy.

That would be nice. I once threw out the first pitch of DE HS Bball game at Blue Rocks Stadium. It was like 1000AM during an Easter Break. The house was packed with about 33 people.

Ugh. I’ve played my whole life and still play softball and I’m 100% convinced if I ever had to throw out a 1st pitch it would somehow shoot straight up in the air or something. Total Blass (for you olds) / Ankiel potential.

Total Blass (for you olds) / Ankiel potential. I remember, Steve Blass...beat the Orioles in the 1971 World Series. My first pitch was sort of a bloop. It was kind of like Rip Sewell's eephus pitch. In other news, the Mueller report does not implicate jimmywhispers.

And please don’t get me started on “We are Family”—1979 Pirates—beat my O’s in Game 7 on my 11th birthday. I hate the Pirates (but love their stadium). Back on topic, my money is on Matt Langel.

It shouldn’t, but I wonder if the job will become semi-toxic for anyone with local ties.
