This is Ashley's transition year.. The incoming roster turnover, I think, will speak for itself... Next year will be 2 of his guys (Beatty + Spencer) and 3 true freshmen, no? At best you start the real analysis in Year 3. Fair point.. Clark is hopefully coming back.. He gets more than just one summer... And was arguably the best offensive player when on the court..

Next year will be 2 of his guys (Beatty + Spencer) and 3 true freshmen, no? At best you start the real analysis in Year 3. I tend to agree - unless there is a bunch of turnover we don't know about. I don't think next year is going to be much better though - talent/size/aggressiveness really isn't there.See bold above - good point. Our bigs really need to hit the weight and training room to up their aggressiveness against bigs. They also need to be coached up on offensive moves in the paint. Langevine, French, Hughes and Toppin are back next year. We got dominated by them but quite frankly, would any of those three start for a top 25 team? This is how big our challenge is here.
I like the players coming back, but we still are really young, and I could see Ash make Traci, David and Shaggy really work for their minutes. We could use a Ramon and/or someone like Ramon 3" taller as an eligible transfer to play next year. Most schools experience turnover. I don't see us being any different and hope Ash can bring in some additional difference makers and coach up the returning crew.

Eliminated from the A-10 in time to make it back from Tir Na Nog for my 2:00 meeting. Nothing like the Thursday noon game.
Our A-10 performance is so consistent that it transcends coaching staffs, players, university presidents, food services department chairmen, art museums, school building names, and time itself. See you in November Explos.

Pookie was too streaky in my opinion. This team needs more consistency on offense. Too many games of 50+% FG one time and then 25%FG another so on paper the 40% FG looks good on paper but my thought is that consistency builds momentum for teams. They could be less talented next year for sure but maybe more consistent I want to agree but don't less talented players tend to be more inconsistent too? I don't know - I was feeling positive the past couple weeks but I'm concerned next year may be mostly the same.

Been in airplane to Montana, missed the game entirely. Oh, well... My brother said it's the most remote place he's ever been in this country. He's never been to Olean, I guess.

Followed the score at work, but was too busy to post. Rough end to the season.
One question, can anyone explain the Ts that were called? Taunting?

One question, can anyone explain the Ts that were called? Taunting? Taunting for both Ts. But the Southwest Philly Floater left Marshall tauntless...

For all the grief we give St. Joe's and Martelli - They know how to win in the A-10 tournament and we don't.

From Bob Vetrone: La Salle has just completed its 24th season in the Atlantic 10 . . . They have failed to win even one conference tournament game in 14 of those seasons (including twice when they failed to qualify).

This leads to one obvious question: does Bob Vetrone, Jr. post as Gnocchi (who posts these facts on a quarterly basis). I heard that Boop is an aggressive eater of Italian foods. He would logically use a handle like Gnocchi. I rest my case.

The court/sidelines are as tight or tighter than the DAC at Drexel. Fans can be great, but they can also be quieter than Gola. There really is NOTHING to do there. There was more fun to be had in Blacksburg, and that's saying something.

Easy to say that with a rookie coach adopting a poor roster.
