Look at the comment section..There are fans predicting us in the final 4...and these are not LaSalle fans or Philly people (the guy in this screenshot is an Ohio State fan). I know that's a pipe dream but it really shows what a few big wins can do for a program.
"Broncosfan150 Round of 32: Kansas, Wisconsin, La Salle, New Mexico, UCLA, Mich St., Ole Miss, Cuse, Florida, Georgetown, Villanova, Ohio State, Illinois, Miami, Kansas State, Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Creighton, Oregon, San Diego State, Louisville, VCU, Gonzaga, Duke, Baylor, Minnesota, Lehigh, Marquette, Butler, Missouri, Indiana Sweet 16: Kansas, La Salle, Mich St, Ole Miss, Florida, Ohio State, Miami, K-State, Michigan, Oregon, San Diego State, VCU, Duke, Minnesota, Butler, Indiana Elite 8: La Salle, Mich St, Ohio State,Miami, Michigan, VCU, Duke, Indiana Final 4: La Salle, Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana Championship: Ohio State vs Indiana Champion: Indiana less 3 fans like this."

I'll take us as the most dangerous 12 seed in the field!

There's getting ahead of yourself and then there's getting ahead of yourself. Still a bit early to fret about potential first round match ups.

if we are in the dance and not a play-in game, I won't give two $hits who the opponent is, what time we play, where, we play, how we match up. We will be IN and that's all that matters. From that point, recruiting gets a little easier, applications to the school increase a bit and our perception changes and hopefully heads back toward the perception our program had in 1990 as opposed to 2010.
A million things ar egoing to happen between now and then. our A10 schedule is much more favorable in February than it was last year but the guys need to take care of business all the way through and not rest on their laurels of beating the perceived top 2 teams. This is still a squad that lost at Charlotte and Xavier. EVERY night is going to be a huge battle other than maybe the game at home against Duquesne.
There is a LONG way to go, plus we need to be in the A10 Semifinals to lock up a spot and that is going to be a brutal assignment for every team in the league.

I'm hoping we make it to the tournament, if only to get to fill in L-A-S-A-L-L-E all the way to the Championship game.
I might consider framing that bracket.
