Looking forward to it. Will be interesting to see what footage Tony Paris has obtained for this. I know a lot was lost when the Channel 17 studios had a fire but he has some 80's footage on the promo.
They showed the La Salle/SJU game at the Spectrum when Speedy slowed the game down for an undermanned La Salle team to beat the Hawks.
I loved the Kareem Townes and Paul Burke backcourt of the early to mid 90's. Wish we could have gotten them more help.

He commented that, where other Big 5 projects have focused on the 50s and 60s, this one will focus on the 80s and 90s. I'd expect a lot of vintage L-Train stuff. 88, I also loved Burke/Townes. Zero frontcourt help, unfortunately. Well, I'll take this opportunity to again BEG & PLEAD for A copy of the La Salle vs Villanova 1969 game. I understand it was occasionally broadcast on the local Comcast Philly Sports access channel. Up here in NH I could never get it. I'll gladly pay a service charge for copying it and shipping in advance. I consider it to be the best Big5 City Series game ever played. If no one has it I'll just have to continue with a lowered quality of life without it. TIA
