In today's Inquirer, Mike Jenson refers to La Salle as the best in the city. Nice to get some positive press for our team.

Rothstein also mentions LaSalle in his Monday column in the "3 things to watch for this week". Whether we can continue our winning ways against a tough UMASS team, and an upstart GW team.

If I am correct the last time we won the Big 5 was 1990. It would be so nice to beat St Joes and Temple. After 20 years of being down I still don't have confidence that we can beat them both. Team defense will be the key. These last 2 wins were won on defense. Imagine the pride we would all feel in going 4-0 in the city. I just hope it can happen. Keep it going guys!

I think this week is critical for our NCAA chances. I think we need 21 wins going in to the A-10 tournament. That means we need to go 7-3 in the last 10 games to get there. With only Duquesne, Rhody and Fordham likely gimme's we would still need to win 4 games from SJU. SBU, Temple, St. Louis, GW the second time if we don't do damage this week. Not an easy road. I would feel much better if we won both games this week from two teams that are capable of beating us. A-10 is brutal.

Winning at GW would be huge- they are playing well and every road win we can get is enormous in terms of RPI impact. I like our schedule and our chances for success. A10 is BRUTAL this year and 10, maybe 11 wins is almost a lock for a dance ticket. Winning at SBU and GW will be difficult but doable for sure. Losses at Temple and SLU are by no means bad. It's really critical to win out the home schedule. Regardless, it's so great to feel this way

Absolutely, we need to make sure our movement off the ball is to the same level as it was against VCU. The spread is great along as there is movement that will allow us to generate good shots. The pull ups from 24 feet are not good shots but back door cuts for layups are and against VCU we saw it often. This off the ball movement was the first thing, I noticed about Garland.

UMASS will be gunning for us after we beat up on them last year. Thankfully, the game is at home so that should help a little. GW just beat up Charlotte at home, so they're no pushover either.
