Congratulations to Coach Royal on securing his 150th win in his 15th year as a head coach. Great accomplishment and thank you for the way you conduct your program.
This season is off to a much better start than I could imagine. Not to be a jinx but the chances to host a Quarterfinal match at McCarthy are looking extremely good. First place after 3 matches feels pretty good but there is still a long way to go.
Last night's match with Dayton was not much on a contest. La Salle dominated the entire match. Dayton had maybe two scoring chances all night. One shot hit the post and bounced right into the GK's hands. La Salle had four different players score. Paul substituted liberally.
Good Luck. Congratulations. Keep it going. Pack the Mac.

Couple of interesting things.
1. Last night's Dayton defeat was most likely the worst beat down they have ever had in the A10. By two, UD board says that as far as they can see, the previous worst defeat was by two goals. WOW.
2. Dayton has not won at La Salle since 2009. WOW #2.

2009. It just feels like longer.
4-0 here vs Dayton since. 5-1-2 overall streak. That's two ties but one of them in Richmond sport backers stadium, La Salle beat them on PKs and they even played the La Salle fight song over the speakers. (Didn't imagine it! It really happened.) The other tie was last year (rebuilding) at their place and they eventually went on to win the A10 that year.
The 150 wins is a testament to how hard they work in practice. Last night's game would have made a great ESPN topten play, I mean that third goal had backspin on it that froze the goalkeeper, who had an off night and would have a tough time making all conference now. I feel bad for her, La Salle really lit her up for a career bad night, only 2 saves in 6 attempts.

Thanks Hykos. I can't think of a reason how I made that mistake except as you get older maybe the connection between the brain and the fingers loses something. Wonder what the next ten years will bring?
