We have height at every position. But SJU has the advantage of a 2 game winning streak in the series.
THID... Let's top this night off with a great win!

Solid first quarter but I felt we played well enough to lead at this point. Let's go!

How about these announcers, trying to keep us in it. "12 seconds to go in the period. La Salle is not going to make it easy for them." Straight layup ensues. I almost can't watch. I know we're in foul trouble but there's suddenly no attempt to disrupt the pass. I think we're gassed now. SJU plays about 10 deep and can play up tempo. We're chasing them all day.

"Unfortunate series of events for La Salle" 53-38 now. SJU opening up some space with a three point play from the line, there.

La Salle went 11 minutes without a field goal, but fought back with some intensity in the close of the 2nd qtr. Closest we got in the rally was three. SJU then outscored La Salle 41-26 from there to win by 18. I learned on the program that the HAWKS are trained by the Marines! They are so fit to run up and down the court and it shows. They will wax Duquesne, tomorrow.
I am appreciative of this team's efforts, and they had a much improved season finishing 17-13 overall.

I am appreciative of this team's efforts, and they had a much improved season finishing 17-13 overall. There's still the chance of the WNIT or the other women's postseason tournament. Believe!

Zero chance for WNIT at all. They don't go by record, they go by who you beat. Outside of Dayton we didn't really get the scalps we needed.

How's the WBB team look for 2017-18?

How's the WBB team look for 2017-18? Quite good, actually. I think losing Alston's minutes, scoring and defense is going to leave a huge hole at the onset, but the players coming in are well regarded.

Dayton WBB is an automatic in the NCAA as a 12 seed. Single bid conference this year.
However, FIVE A10 WBB teams are in the NIT: GW (54, auto bid), St Louis (94), St Joe's (116), Fordham (119), Duquesne (124).
I would think VCU and maybe even La Salle would be considered for the WBI. However, the bracket, due out today, is not yet posted on their website.
