Hot topic yesterday on the alum side. Should Garland start for Mills or continue to come off the bench? G addressed Sam's slump by saying that he has been in a slump but as long as he plays defense he will get minutes. Thoughts?

I think Garland is great off the bench. You need his explosiveness when the 2nd unit is out there. I'd rather have Garland out there at the end though, which is really more important.

Keep Garland on the bench. When you play a team (like Dayton) that doesn't have a pure scorer, Garland can be a dagger when he comes on.

Bench. It's not who starts, it's who finishes.
Garland provides instant offense and I don't believe he'd be nearly as efficient as a starter right now. Mills should start mostly for defensive purposes, but should not be getting the minutes load he currently gets. It should be closer to 20-25, max.
