Nice win yesterday especially for the fans. Before the game and even at halftime, EVERYONE I spoke with said the same thing. " They can't lose this game." This should be the La Salle motto.
Good defensive effort yesterday especially by the much maligned Zack and Wright. I still can't believe that Zack got credit for only one blocked shot. I thought he had at least three. Anyone else have the same thought?
Duren was his usual steady self. Garland with instant offense and some real dogged defense.
G has to get a hold of himself. Time to tone it down with the players while the game is being played. Use some of that for the refs once in a while. Defend your players.
Dayton losing at home yesterday only makes this a must game for them. They will come to Gola with a purpose. I expect a tremendous student turnover by La Salle. Should be a great game.
Finally, yesterday was a peek at 2013-14 season without Galloway.

I hate bashing the refs but yesterday was horrendous. Richmond hammered our guys in the paint and we got very little calls in that area. To call a player three times for charges that far from the basket was ridiculous. Also a few missed carries with the basketball as well.

48-24 advantage in the paint and we started 4 guards! When is the last time we doubled up a conference team in the paint? I just checked all the A10 box scores from 2011-12, and we never doubled anyone up in the paint. The box scores from 2010-11 are no longer posted on our website, so I'm having trouble accessing the information. Needless to say, it's been years!

Kale and Steve were literally laughing at the ref who called the fouls on Ramon. This guy according to their account made numerous calls against us that should have gone the other way. I trust these guys to be pretty close to accurate. Makes you wonder, what's the deal?

Kale roots for La Salle on air, as much as calls the game. Steve is a little more objective. So I wouldn't go on their analysis. But a couple of the offensive fouls on Ramon didn't look like good calls to me, either.

I have never, ever seen 3 offensive charging fouls on one player in a game in my life, much less in one half. To bott, all three where outside the lane if I remember correctly.
The worst officials of all the sports I watch are college basketball and then NBA refs. I will admit basketball is the hardest sport to officiate IMO but damn can't major college basketball find competent people to officiate?
When I see guys like Joe Lindsey offiating NCAA tournament games I have to wonder.

When Kale said there was a missed carry and a travel Steve said the no call was justice because Jerrell should have been called for a foul?
Two non calls don't make a right. They play should have been dead.
Another time Steve said the Richmond guy fell to the floor and no walk was called. I didn't see the play but from the radio apparently these refs let anything go which is the worst kind of ref.
