I like Kimmel center bucks because they can be redeemed at several different venues for several different genres, including musicals, comedy, orchestra, dance/ballet, and live bands. It is the best gift card I can think of to inspire friends or family to have a night out on the town.
PJ Whelihans, a La Salle athletics sponsor, is selling $60 gift cards for $50 good to all of their NJ (and now, Oaks) locations including some other local NJ restaurant brands. The $10 bonus must be used in Jan or Feb only, and only counts toward food, but the $50 portion does not expire. In these cases, I don't like giving a "gift" with strings attached so the $50 I usually give away, and the $10 becomes my treat to myself. But you can do whatever you like with this promo idea. This special sale ends soon, and is available both online and at their various locations.
Does anyone have some additional ideas you'd like to share, like from a place of employment or favorite restaurant?

Noon eastern today (Thurs 12/22) is deadline for free shipping of orders over $99 at fanatics.com using promo code LASTCHANCE. They have a selection of La Salle items, and so many Phillies items on clearance also. I got my son the $9 Phillies youth scarf to bump me over the $99 minimum. If you make an account you'll also get 5% rewards dollars* put in your name for future orders. *Note: FanCash earned between 9/15/2016 and 12/31/16 will expire 11:59 PM EST 12/31/16. Beginning 1/1/17, your FanCash will expire 6 months after your most recent purchase. Wow. Rewards you almost can't use around the holidays. That's a more punitive "rewards" program than Spirit Airlines! If anyone wants to take my $5 off now, PM me...

I always give/get some LAS gear for xmas presents.
The extent of Boscovs Plymouth Meeting Mall's La Salle clothes are two of the rattiest XL and XXL sweatshirts I've ever seen. They look to have been hanging since TGA opened. Less than an handful of LAS sweatbottoms too, but again humongous.
Will try another Boscovs since the prices are right on their college stuff.

I haven't seen boscovs in awhile either, SIC. Looks like their inventory turnover would definitely be an issue there.
The La Salle stuff online is good enough for me, lately. I also think the ebay selection of La Salle merch is worth checking out, though it's really too late to get something for this year. I was surprised that fanatics, which claims to sell over 500 NCAA institutions, came up with diddly squat for some local passed over teams like St Peters and NJIT.
