But can you imagine if he’d made one of those two attempts? Joe would be going nuts at the possibility of a 6’10 kid who shoots 50% from the arc.

I am pretty sure we are in on Clifton Moore. I don't know if he will choose us but I am pretty certain we have made some contact with him. Tall, athletic with a pretty jump shot.. Would fit in Ashley's spread system seamlessly... Would be a very good get.. Describes what we're getting in Brandon Stone. Plus, Kimbrough and Croswell developed nicely this past season. They don't have the shooting range that you may be looking for in a big, but they do other things pretty well. Moore's PT would be limited here IMO.

Mid-major bigs love to foul so I wouldn't be worried at all about duplicating that sort of skillset.

Didn't Jameer Nelson spend the summer helping Tyreek Duren prepare before Tyreek's senior year?

I guess we could see what irons Ash has in the fire as early as next Wednesday (NLI). I wouldn't be surprised to see see a grad transfer or two as well.

I took this tweet differently. Based on emoji usage, I’m thinking there’s a chance he comes here as well. don't know what la salle's chances are, but ayinde is certainly trying to get him to come here. great stuff. So is carpenter coming here? The 4th pic doesn’t have Stone, but that’s Ray, Hikim, and Carpenter. http://instagram.com/p/BwSMWb_gzjx

If you look through the comments Ayinde commented he's trying to get him up here.
If he commits that is a huge get.

For an uncommitted recruit show up and put on a uni and have his picture taken....I’d say that’s a good sign.

For an uncommitted recruit show up and put on a uni and have his picture taken....I’d say that’s a good sign. They do it all of the time. Donta Scott and McLeod both had La Salle uniforms on when they visited and we got neither. I don't think it makes one difference as to what is going on with his recruitment. It may not mean anything.

Another transfer to keep an eye on.
Robert Morris's Koby Thomas. He's from Philadelphia and Kyle Griffin helped recruit him out of HS.

He may have been injured. Does Koby Thomas elevate La Salle any higher than where it is now in the A-10 pecking order? If so, then I would take him. However, I don't think he does. He is a 6"6 kid who can't shoot and seems to play the inside in a smaller conference. I understand the connection to Griffin but Ash simply needs to find better players to raise this program.

Per Corey Evans
Ole Miss, Nebraska, Temple, Butler, UNLV, Townson, Utah St, and La Salle are among the schools involved with Ohio transfer Teyvion Kirk. Sit one, play two guard that averaged close to 15 points, six rebounds and three assists last season

Robert Carpenter visited St. Bonaventure this weekend and they feel they are the clear favorite. Would be disappointing if Ash lost this recruiting battle I must admit. Carpenter visited two weeks ago and we have not gotten a commitment which becomes less likely each day. Hope I am wrong.

6'10" kid from Hatboro-Horsham leaving Indiana... Small sample size, BUT Major Conference Players in Last 10 Seasons to have a Career Block% of 9+, Career Defensive Rebound% of 25+ and a Career Steal% of 2+, Minimum 100 Minutes Played: BLK% DRB% STL% MP Anthony Davis 13.7 25.6 2.5 1281 Joel Embiid 11.7 27.3 2.3 647 Cheick Diallo 11.9 27.0 2.0 202 Clifton Moore 9.7 25.8 2.3 104 Block percentage is an estimate of the percentage of opponent 2-pt FGA that a player blocks while he is on the floor. Steal percentage is an estimate the percentage of opponent possessions that end with a steal by the player. DRB% is an estimate the percentage of available defensive rebounds a player grabs while he is on the floor. If you lower the Stl% parameter to 1.5%, you still get monsters: Mike Watkins, Bol Bol, Cole Aldrich, Mo Bamba cbbref.com/tiny/eXrIRMoore's offense has been a problem (again in the small sample), but I think he stands to gain a lot via the greater comfort level he'll have via greater involvement at La Salle (at least I hope)

The fourth guy rode the pine for all but 105 minutes over two seasons and then transferred down.
