Not much talk about the Cortez going to the wrong building trying to find Mitch McConnell. Chick is an idiot and lives is fantasyland. Maybe she thought she could drop off her 70% tax plan to Mitch.
Pelosi and her Democratic crew pulled from the runway just as they thought they were about to take off. LMAO
Democrats are like a car crash you can’t turn away from.

Seems like a curious thing to focus on as the news breaks that the President instructed someone to lie before Congress. As opposed to a video (which you're wrong about by the way- they clearly say in the video she went to his office first.)

The sheer terror she inspires is both a credit to her and an indictment of the dem party. I saw a Tweet a few weeks back (when the dancing video came out)along the lines of "How much of the right-wing freak out about AOC is attributable to them not being able to handle being attracted to her" and I think that's definitely a non-insignificant portion of it.

At least 200 Billion reasons!
It might not be necessary to look much further. Here, is obviously a major reason why Don is soooooo gaga over Vlad! The seizing of political power decades ago in the fledgling democracy of Russia has been extremely rewarding for Vlad. He is currently estimated to be situated anywhere from the 6th to the 1st riches man in the world, having projected wealth of anywhere from 70 billion to 200 billion dollars in his control. Neither Karen Mcdougall nor Melania of the early years could be so intensely arousing for Don! Or, certainly as sustaining of his passion and loyalty! Ah those secret meetings with Vlad, how Don yearns for more of them! Move over Anthony and Cleopatra! This is a romance that will truly change history. Wear that red hat proudly!

I wonder why Donnie boy chose today of all days to cave on his wall? Could he be trying to distract everyone away from the fact that his buddy and mentor just got nailed by Mueller? Nah, he'd never do that, would he? Cue up the 3:00 AM tweets.

The Hawks are circling Venezuela
Pompeo, Bolton and Rubio are agog! Their NEO Con hearts, pumping loudly, teeth gnashing, rapidly rising and falling shirts on their chest reveal large saliva stains. There is a humdinger of an opportunity for military action……… in Venezuela. The free world must be protected! And now could be a golden opportunity! Don badly needs a distraction, a cause to divert the American public from his un-doings. Surely, he will approve? Blockading Venezuela to enforce new sanctions could be a worthy distraction for example as Don Jr. gets served his indictment.
Ah the stars are finally lining up! But not so fast Marco! This just maybe too good to be true! Do your homework fellows! Do you really think Vlad will let Don move against his interests here? Sorry fellows, forget Venezuela, forget Iran, forget Syria. Oh ye and forget North Korea. Think again guys! Now, I am sure if you pick a fight with a NATO nation Vlad, oh, and Don will certainly approve!

Count on Mr. Madura of Venezuela taking his case to the world and asking questions like these. Why are you making such a big stink here? Or, are you saying that Donald Trump is the only "special" one? Like it or not democracy fans, Don is championing a new brand of America, and American world leadership. Of course, Nicolás Madura and others just want to follow. Sure corporate interests got their panties in a bunch about the happenings. But in response to this and perhaps any nobler opposition the in your face argument goes something like this---- Donald Trump lied, cheated and used Vlad’s help to secure the presidency of his country….Why can’t I?I too am going to make my country great! I too am entitled ( I too am a liar, crook, oh and in bed with the Russians)!

Here's hoping the upcoming election leads to actual debate and discussion instead of censorship and locking of discussion board threads when people disagree and one side's argument is seen as invalid.
oh wait...never mind...it just happened.

Here's hoping the upcoming election leads to actual debate and discussion ... “Respectfully”, it won’t. There’s no chance of an honest debate when one side has outsourced their personal opinion-forming to others who will willingly mislead them for profit.

To be clear, I don’t have you in that group above. I think there’s four factions here; the left, the Fox watchers, the “don’t mix sports and politics” and the devils advocate Rand Paul guy. Everyone can assign themselves as they see fit.

Imagine not wanting your Alma mater, a small regional University without a football team, to be broadcast on the most viewers news Network in the country. The last thread wasn't even laughable, and I typically laugh at stupid political discussions on a BASKETBALL board. It was absolutely pathetic. If you don't want million to know about La Salle, congratulations, you've publicly embarrassed it. If someone was looking at the school, and sees the immature and pathetic comments on the Twitter post, congratulations. We can't have a single nice thing without people getting their panties in a bunch. I remember as a high school student going to la salle to see Joe sestak and Pat Toomey debate in the union. It's sad to see how far we've fallen that we need to criticize the university for supporting one of our most successful alumnus. Congratulations to all.

The great Republican Tom Gola mixed sports and politics Now there would be a good picture all La Salle faithful could get behind our cheerleaders in front of a picture of Tom Gola. Mr. Gola was certainly a class act and what I thought our brand stood for. Now that's great messaging for the school! Values mean something! A man of principle, a player who put us on the map and then coached us out of trouble. Instead we get a picture of our cheerleaders in front of Sean Hannity. The coach to Trump. Trump the ladies' genital grabber, the draft dodging Mr. Cadet bone spurs, and let us not forget Russian mob-money launderer-in-chief. This is not your father's republican party. Due to Trump, respectable republican politicians are an in-danger-ed specie. They are dropping like flies. Mr. Gola was certainly a republican politician to be proud of. Mistakes happen and I suspect the school will rethinks this 1 big time. What do you want to stand for? I do not believe Mr Gola the politician would have stood for that picture. Values mean something! I think he would let Roy More stand in! Thanks for bringing up Mr. Gola, a man of humility, a man of principle, intellect and class, a La Salle legend and yes a republican! Kinda of a square peg for the brown round hole that's today's republican party

And locking the thread because of an actual stated political agenda that wasn't being furthered was ridiculous. We have a successful female alumna who supports her school enough to wear the colors on national TV...in essence a role model for any young woman looking to get into the field at a national level from a small private school like La Salle. Instead of celebrating that, celebrating what a victory that is for women from our school, celebrating that someone considering La Salle might see her story and think, "I can go to La Salle and do that", she was labeled a "sell-out" by someone who purportedly bleeds blue and gold. That's not just childish, that's misogyny to attack a successful female alum so callously when all she did was take a job on national TV on a channel you don't like and willingly promote our University.

I'll say it publicly GB2 just like I said it to you privately and said it to the board in the thread before I locked it. It was locked because I saw the direction the thread was heading. It was only going to get more partisan and bitter. Just like this one is becoming more partisan and bitter. You jumped over on this thread to continue to push your point of view. There was no need to open this thread. You were pissed and you wanted to continue to spout off. You continue to make an unfounded and frankly untrue claim why the other thread was locked. I don't like being called a liar and right now, with your continued positing of why the thread was locked is basically saying that. Let's cut the crap on both sides and get back to basketball. TYVM.

Let's all pause for a moment to consider the irony of being told a thread was becoming partisan while on page 14 of a completely partisan thread.
Perhaps instead of pointing the finger at me, it should be pointed at the misogynistic post attacking a female alum who committed the "crime" of being successful in her field of study.

“Imagine not wanting your Alma mater, a small regional University without a football team, to be broadcast on the most viewers news Network in the country.” Given we’re talking about what amounts to a basketball mascot, because that’s all our school is known for outside of the city, wouldn’t you love if it the players and former players could weigh in?

No. I'm pointing the finger at you because you are who I was addressing. I told you why I locked the thread both in the thread and in a private message. You continue to espouse an alternate message which is unfounded and untrue. I'm pointed the finger squarely at you and now you're pulling a misdirect instead of acknowledging what you have done which is falsely claim multiple times that the thread was locked for some nefarious reason. You're wrong.

So why wasn't this one locked 13 pages ago if you are so concerned about partisan postings? I can't prove I'm not wrong, any more than you can prove that I am. It seems applicable to paraphrase Shakespeare here and say, "Methinks thou dost protest too much."
