Bernie Sanders polls at >50% favorable because he's really f'ing hot. More likely it is because of his ridiculous tax plan to take everyone's money from their paycheck to incentivize the rest not to work for they receive.

Which is exactly why he polls better with those who are college educated and obviously make *less* money. There are no holes in your argument.

There are probably 2-3 dozen Republican Congressmen who are more Conservative than AOC is Liberal. The Democratic party has just been filled with weak-kneed centrists for so long that when an actual Liberal gets up and speaks, the right can't process it.

Explorer88, the 70% tax idea is one socialist's agenda, it could never become that party's plan because that party is backed by Wall Street bankers. This is fear tactic used by FAUX NEWS. This tax plan will never be voted on let alone pass. But if you're still somehow at all worried about 70% of YOUR paycheck being subject to withholding, you should rest assured, it is only proposed to be for the top 0.1% of filers, earning $10M/year or more. I presume if you aren't in that, there really is nothing to worry about, besides more people moving funds offshore, but they're doing that anyway right now. And if you are in that bracket, would you please consider a donation to the arena fund, and write it off as a donation. 2. The left are going to lose their mind when Trump addresses the nation tonight. He's not going to declare a national emergency despite reporting that he will. Doing so would end his presidency. I'll be watching the Sixers. Yawn.

I'll be watching the Sixers. Yawn. Whatever is said the left will lose their mind......as usual. Also, if he declares a national emergency his Presidency isn't going to end. It is going to end if he doesn't get a wall or some effective change to immigration completed. Over 80% over the public have concerns on the current immigration issues facing the company. He has a lot of people who share his concerns. I think he would be much safer trying to work with congress but one side will do zero so he needs to find another way to get it done.

Adam Schiff, great Democrat who used public funds to cover up sexual abuse claims. Now his friend and donor Ed Buck seen here just had another dead guy appear at his love pad. #Democrats

Just wondering if this is fake news as well?P.S. I have no doubt at all that the 34% is entirely made up of government workers that stand with The Donald.

To be fair, there is a difference between agreeing there is a problem (immigration broadly) and agreeing on the solution (wall / technology / system reform / etc.) and how we get there (shutting down the government / emergency declaration / bipartisan reform (LOL)).

I agree 100%. A shutdown over this however is clearly not popular. Even among the Fox viewers apparently.

Yup. Like ... To be fair, there is a difference between agreeing there is a problem (healthcare costs and availability) and agreeing on the solution (Beveridge / Bismarck / National / US model / etc.) and how we get there (House measures / waiting until 2020 / bipartisan reform (LOL)).

(Obviously not a perfect analogy as single-payer is, depending on the polling, twice as popular as a southern border wall.)

If he bought 1,000, he also bought 300. You fell for the trap. His political genius strikes again - clearly playing chess while we all play checkers. But seriously, it's entered the ridiculous stage. And somehow, we've all decided not to talk about Manafort giving internal polling data (the sort that would help to target a disinformation campaign) to GRU and Deripaska-affiliated Konstantin Kilimnik in 2016.

Immigration It sure looks like American institutional wheels of justice are slowly grinding toward accountability for the Trump clan. Will it be prison for Don and his brood? Or perhaps, Vlad might offer them asylum for services rendered? And what shall become of the “Birther Trumpers”, the many millions of voters inspired by Don’s plan (with special thanks to Steve Bannon and Steven Miller) to cleanse American society and install/restore the “legitimates” to their rightful position of power? The answer to this just seems like such a no brainer. These folks might consider immigration, immigrating to Russia. Go to a society that is of like-mind, clearly matching the social order you seek, obviously ready made for your value system. Make America Great ! A first step in your noble cause! lp.babbel.com/d/QAE_index.html?bsc=circular-flags-reviews-rus&btp=default&l2=RUS&postReg=https%3A%2F%2Fwelcome.babbel.com%2Fen%2Fregistration_interstitial%2F

The curious case of Bill Barr (BB)
Watched the testimony of Don’s nominee for Attorney General BB with great attention fueled by deep concerns. This is the hombre who could stand in the way of Mueller’s findings seeing the light of day. Scary, scary, scary, --Strike 1 he auditioned for the job and got Don’s approval. Strike 2 it was with a damming legal analysis of the investigation that obviously pleased Don. And now what should be strike 3 and we be shit out of luck regarding Don’s dirty deeds seeing the light of day, this guy has a history of being a staunch republican partisan using a savvy legal mind to protect Republican law breakers (e.g. pardons for Iran Contra clowns).
But, we maybe on strike 2 with a chance of still holding Don and brood’s feet to the fire because of BB’s vociferous party loyalty. Perhaps I am dreaming, but I am sensing there are a number of prominent republicans that are keenly aware of the damaging long term odor that Don brings to the party. A fumigation process would be beneficial sooner rather than latter for party survival.
BB is not like your average empty suit turned politician republican. I was over and over again struck with the question, Who does this guy remind me of??? when seeing his demeanor and listening to him speak. Upon closing my eyes and just listening it finally hit me, Dick Cheney. If not an exact replica sure close. I see a guy possessing the Vice’s guile, and importantly a truly high aptitude schemer. It might be wishful thinking on my part, but could BB have loftier motives than protecting Don (e.g saving the future GOP), that the country indirectly might benefit from? We shall see.
