Last thing I saw on Coger was this on Dec.15th: Josh Paunil þ@JoshPaunilNRS 2013 big man Tyrek Coger says Kansas State, Jacksonville & Villanova is his top three. All of them have offered him. The story I was quoting was from Jan. 4 on the wolfpacker site.

An odd list of schools. He originally committed to Missouri and that didn't work out and seems to have switch back and forth on a dozen different schools. Something is going on with this kid and that probably means he ends up at a school not even mentioned here or doesn't play next year at all.

His list of schools seems to be like the list of schools generated by players in NCAA for Playstation in dynasty mode.

Amar had another great game Friday night in a losing effort in O.T. against Roman Catholic. He scored 28 points of his teams (I think) 53. Young man is better recruit than people think. He has outplayed the best players on two of the best teams in the Catholic League.

I went to the LCHS-RCHS game on Friday night. Just a great game and atmosphere with a lot of talent on the floor. I wish I could make it to more high school games. This one was a classic. Even the JV game was entertaining with some good talent.
I saw Amar play once last year and a couple times in AAU games during the summer and he just continues to get better. Unfortunately for him, he missed the front end of a one and one late in regulation which probably would have sealed the game for LCHS but it happens. They would have been run out of the gym if it wasn't for him. He was outstanding on both sides of the floor.
Shep Garner is RCHS's "star" player but I came away much more impressed with their soph point guard Traci Carter and junior guard Rashaan London. I've been told Carter is already on Syracuse's radar and is getting other BCS looks and I can understand why. Played like a veteran, was unselfish, could get to the rim, and had a sweet jumper off the dribble. Would love to see "G" try to get involved with him and London in hopes that they want to stay local.
