St. Louis is blowing out #20 New Mexico. New Mexico just upset unbeaten Cincy. Lets see if St. Louis can hang on. If they win, it'll be a big boost to A10 conference play.

Congrats to St. Louis for beating a team with a RPI of 8. St. Louis is surely a sleeper in the A10. A10 is getting crowded at the top with 11 and 10 win teams.

It's pretty surprising out here in St. Louis. This season was highly anticipated and once Majerus left the team it took some of the buzz away. Once he passed away it really has muted much of the buzz SLU had. I'm assuming once conference play gets going it will pick up but I can't wait to see the Explorers out here in March.

Surprising? 1 true road game in the OOC(a loss), 10 home games, 2 neutrals, 10-3, why not? A sked created to meet a bonus based on total wins? or big buildings need to be paid for....

Not sure we're in a position to criticize a schedule built to boost win totals.

Haven't had a chance to see SLU play more than a few minutes this season, but make no mistake, they are very good. I'm sure losing Majerus weakens them a little, but they have a deep and veteran team and Crews has had some success as a head coach before.
People also need to remember that they played most of this season without Kwamain Mitchell who just returned from an ankle injury late last week. He is one of the best and most underrated point guards in the A10 and will make them even tougher to beat. Right now, I'd put SLU near the top of the league.
