Anyone notice how well Minnesota is playing? Currently ranked in the top 10 and LaSalle gave them all they could handle last year in the first round of the NIT. That to me was a good loss and good spring board for the explorers going into this year. Hopefully it pays bigger dividends going into A 10 play.

What?! You gotta be kidding me. I can't people are still on cloud 9 for "just being there".
La Salle was at home and were favored. They should have won that game. Huge disappointment.

It's nice to see the progression this year from last year. I'm 100% certain that this year's team would not allow that Minnesota team to hold the ball for the duration of the shot clock. Instead La Salle would have pressured, ran the floor and maintained fast-pace basketball.

I realize how good Minnesota is and that they were coming together at the end of that season when we faced them, but that's a still a game we should have won. Too many turnovers where our guys threw the ball away without that much pressure. Could've made a nice run after that in the NIT.

i agree that it's time to move on; just as the program shouldn't dwell on the past and it's struggles, it shouldn't live in the highs of an NIT. need to build on it and move on to where every school wants to be...the NCAAs.
