This was brought up before.. just wondering when or if this will be addressed..
From the main screen, when you click on page 4 of a thread (for example), you go to page 1. Not only does it go to page 1, but it goes to the middle of page 1.
So once you're in the thread, you have to scroll up, then then click on page 4. Then it finally brings you to page 4.
This is quite an annoyance if you're checking threads frequently.
Will this ever be fixed?

Agreed. When I click on a page number, I would like to be brought there. I find the function only works if I'm logged in and posted previously within the thread.

The last time this was bought up, Joe said he would see what he could do but wasn't sure there was anything. We''re using a free board that's fairly basic. I don't see anything in the Admin panel, but I will play around with it to see if I can find anything.
Per my initial post, I don't know anything about this stuff, nor do I particularly care. I asked for volunteers who might be interested in helping from a technical standpoint. There were no takers.

And for what it's worth, if you hover over the number and click, you get into the page you are looking for. I don't know if it only works when you are logged in, but I just tried it on a thread I hadn't posted on, and was taken right to page 2.

I use Mozilla Firefox and it generally jumps to one post after what I had read regardless of what page I click on. (If that makes sense.)

If you are using a browser that isn't internet explorer (and as an IT guy, it would make me sad that you would be), you can see the url of the link when you hover over the number (usually bottom left).
The end of the url should have page(x) after it, which will take you there.
This does suck, but this is a board service. I'd have to host a board (which I offered ;D, but it would be under the Philahoops umbrella).

Hover, click and HOLD for 1-2 seconds and it jumps to the page
