What record would lasalle need? does 19-10 get them in? i have them going 10-3 in nonconference and 9-7 in a 10 play. i owuld hope that gets them into the nit but i am not sure so maybe a win in the tourney would help. let me know what you guys think

The Explorers will definitely be an NIT candidate with either 19 or 20 wins. More than a few blog prognosticators think La Salle will be in the NCAA. Earlier this week someone on our board posted four links showing NCAA berths. Post season play, assuming a 10-3 OOC record will depend on confernce finish & conference tournament performance. A 10-6 record with now lower than a tie for four plan together with two conference wins probably gets us to the big dance. Just one person's opinion.

Gotta have 3 or more top 50 wins.
Beating at least 3 of these 5 would do it: Miami, Temple, Butler, VCU, Xavier.
It really depends on who we beat in-conference. If we lose to all the big boys, and beat the lesser squads, I'm afraid that's not going to cut it.

In past years we won a game or two where we were big underdogs, and lost a few we were expected to win. This year I don't see any games where we will be huge underdogs, so I see all tough games as VERY winnable. I do,worry about those games where we are heavily favored.
Happy New Year to all
