Remember when you were still in kindergarten and how wonderful the world seemed. Imagine how you would feel being in CT today.
Conference alignments, facilities, coaching strategies and RPIs mean nothing in comparison.

Sick to my stomach. Can't comprehend the horror of this. I have a duaghter just out of elementary school and can't fathom the pain these families are enduring. Just unthinkable.

I agree. Conference realignment and W's and L's don't seem to be that big a deal right now. What a sad commentary on our society. During the season of Joy and Giving lets just pray it doesn't happen again

Totally agree, devastating. The things I was pissed about this morning, you feel like a brat for caring about that stuff.
....please refrain from political comments; this is not the time for that.

I've been praying since Columbine but it doesn't seem to help.
Why does someone have to hurt children? Just don't get it.
Hug your kids tonight.

One of the fathers was a La Salle grad, either class of 1999 or 2000. Name is on facebook. Just absolutely horrific.

I just heard that a child of an alum was one of the victims. Terrible. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families.

I lived in the next town over for 4 years back in the late 90's. I actually almost bought a house in Newtown. It's a quiet town. Very scenic, very All American. The focal point of Newtown is this huge flagpole with an American flag flying from it in the center of town. If something can happen there, it can happen anywhere. It's an unspeakable tragedy.
