I see that Duquesne beat West Virginia 60-56 last night. Aric Murray started, played 13 minutes, had 2 pts on 1 for 4 shooting, 4 rebounds and 4 personal fouls.
Not very impressive.

Don't know what his other lines look like but the few times I caught a piece of a WV game he seemed to be doing OK. The announcers seemed to think so anyway.

Would like to see Duquesne get back to winning again. Pittsburg is a great sports town and if the Dukes do well it helps the A10 image in a major market..go Dukes

AM has been off and on so far this year. Getting his rebounds, but pts have been very inconsistent, and he's been heaving some 3's. If he can only manage 4 points against a small Duquesne team, he's not a big loss to the program in my book. We are a much better team without him. With him right now, we'd probably be a 3 or 4 loss team.

not sure you can say "he's been heaving some 3's" considering he's shot 6 of them in 8 games...but you're right, he's not a big loss to the program

His talent alone will get AM stats at any level, but he's not a basketball player

Listen, I know that the mature thing for me to do is forget that Aaric Murray ever stepped foot on campus, but I took an interest in WVA this season nonetheless. I got a kick out of the fact that:
1. This team is reported to have chemistry issues. (shocking)
2. Murray was benched for oversleeping and missing practice (and called out by Huggy in the media for doing so).
3. Murray was silly enough to tell the media that Huggy is a different man on the court than he is on the recruiting trail.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy....
