I really, really hate trying to ascribe reasons to "seemingly suspicious behavior" like HS transfers for kids with upper-level sports potential. Reeeeeeeally hate it. #respect #thankyou

3 high schools and bailing out early-to-mid-season on Marquette I'd say raises a red flag. It's not normal in my opinion. It's a suspicious pattern. You're certainly welcome to slough it off. I don't. Yeah but after he helps us win our second NCAA title NONE of it will matter. You will be at the Parade and sitting in the front row at City Hall. He will have a building on campus named for him and G will be enshrined into the Hoops Hall of Fame.

That's one of the reasons I went to La Salle.....character is supposed to matter. 156 Ramon went to 2 high schools- one in Philadelphia then one in Florida. He then went to South Carolina before coming to La Salle. I would take him again in a heartbeat. Maybe faster. Just because someone switched schools- you cant point to character as the issue, that's assinine, unreasonable and unfair.

Explain to me the character exhibited, good, bad or neutral, questioning a 20 year old's character because he went to "too many" high schools?

So in this hypothetical, if we won an NCAA Championship, you wouldn't be overly happy about it, because one of our players went to 3 different High Schools? This is like a bad version of "Whispering Down the Lane." What is being parroted back to me is a bastardized version of what I originally said. Actually, all of the problems are found within the posts that think they're responding to what I wrote, but they either didn't really read the posts or are just intentionally trying to conjure up some drama. "3 high schools and bailing out early-to-mid-season on Marquette I'd say raises a red flag. It's not normal in my opinion. It's a suspicious pattern." <----- See this? I never said he had an arrest record a mile long, I never said I wouldn't support a team because a player went to 3 different high schools. I said his track record is suspicious..........it is. It's not normal --- and I clearly stated that this is all my opinion. It doesn't have to be yours, it's mine. I'm entitled to it. Maybe it turns out he has completely legitimate reasons for everything that happened, who knows? But on June 17, 2017, based upon what any of us know at this point about him, that's where I stand. I also said in a reply to another member, "stlexplorer - That's a fair consideration, sure. I hope it all turns out for the best." And I do hope it all turns out for the best, but I've been around enough years to know to prepare for the worst, too. And finally, yes, I am unapologetic when I say I want players of character to play at La Salle and would never support a team rostered with players with checkered pasts. Players like that are in direct conflict with the ideals and principles that are supposed to be represented at La Salle University. 78
