Man we desperately need frontcourt help. Especially someone who can protect the rim. My God Brimah was needed by this program.

Huge shot by Duren. Excellent feed provided by Northeastern wish we had that and their stadium.

It was a classic trap game. I thought Wright looked out of synch early on, with some bad turnovers, but pulled it together a bit in the second half. Northeastern needed this game badly and I like their team, especially considering how young they are. Always thankful that we have Duren.

Ty Duren came up huge there, even after struggling for the first 30 minutes. Really encouraging to see the team hang in there. Seemed out of sync most of the game, like they couldn't get a real feel on either end of the court. Very rushed possessions at times.
Think we won that game on a combination talent and maturity. This game had the hallmark of one we would have lost in the past, but I never got a sense of panic despite it apparent that we couldn't get a solid rhythm. Time to look forward to Bucknell. Will be nice to have some momentum going in.

That was a gutsy win in a total trap game. The Legend of Tyreke continues. Now we have our fourth really good guard on board.
We really need Sam to heat up again.

Huge shot by Duren. Excellent feed provided by Northeastern wish we had that and their stadium. And a nice job by the Northeastern announcers. Most homers would've been crying "foul" on their last shot.

Well, we'll call this the expected letdown after a series of games with Villanova and Penn State. If nothing else, it was a character win in the clutch. You'd like to see them beat schools like this by double digits, but Northeastern has played a few of their better opponents close.
Games like this are probably going to help them during the course of the season.

WHAT I LIKED:
1) Ramon's first half.
2) Ramon not forcing anything in the second half.
3) Jerrell's solid game.
4) DJ being a bit more aggressive with his jumper.
WHAT I HATED:
1) Buying on pump fakes. Come on, guys.
2) Rebounding.
3) No adjustments made to that elbow jumper from their big stiff that they scored about 99.9% of their half-court offense on.
4)
WHAT I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE:
TYREKE DUREN. I know he's not the best point guard in college basketball. But I don't know who is better.
1) Tyreke Duren, who can't be

Nice win against a decent team that played hard on its home court. We need a little bit more patience on O. Has anybody been able to watch practice- what is jermaine able to do. Does anybody have a basis for respectfully disagreeing with Coach decision to redshirt him? I do not believe that Hunt is an option. We really needed another Big this year-or am I delusional?-Well I might be, but about this subject.

Wasn't that long ago where we would screw up the inbound pass with 11 ticks remaining and lose a game like this. Tough spot for LaSalle. On the road, looked a little unmotivated (even G on the sidelines wasn't his animated self), but you just had that sense that one way or the other, they were going to pull this game out. They played just well enough to win. I'll take it. But it won't suffice on the road next Saturday against a tough Bucknell team. We need to bring our A game there. As for JDavis...hasn't really played ANY significant minutes since junior year in hs. He's a project. As long as we are winning and healthy, i don't see him anything but a rs frosh.
