Dunn drains another over the "We Are La Salle" chant. Just beautiful

Easily one of the most fun La Salle games to comfortably watch in a long time

Hahaha and O.J. Lewis knocks one down much to the ire of G.

Dunn got the eyes of death from G at the end there, draining it at the buzzer.

La Salle looked awesome tonight. Duren is really coming on and Galloway is the inspirational leader of the team. La Salle just put A10 teams on notice.

Dunn didn't shoot it, it was Lewis.
Hard to blame the kid honestly. I know it's considered poor sportsmanship, but it may be one of the few times he sees the floor for the next few seasons. Make hay while the sun shines.
Also, it's Penn St. so who cares? Twist the dagger.

Dunn drains another over the "We Are La Salle" chant. Just beautiful Don't see that everyday. I think it's important for the team to keep giving it to opponents even when we're up big. Good teams don't let up.

G is just livid about the garbage time three by a La Salle walk-on (#11 - Lewis). But three weeks from now he'll be bragging about dropping 80 on a stingy BIG T1e1N defense and that was the last shot that got us there!!
I don't understand why we can't enjoy a little bit of swagger for once. But I guess this one's over and we got to look at our little mistakes and foul troubles and learn from it all.
The kids all did well tonight.

Not sure how much more negative rep I can get with the cap at once per poster per hour, so I'll admit, I'm not at all happy about the start of a drunken "Hit the showers" chant but otherwise the crowd was on cue and wonderful.

Was rooting for Nova tonight to help our RPI down the road. Oh well.

Even when this game got close, I never felt like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. They had it in hand from start to finish, great job. Let's beat Northeastern and not look too far ahead to Bucknell.

Meh. They were having fun, at least. I'm not saying it's the best, but considering some of the chants we've heard, I don't think we should look at with too much scrutiny. Overall, great crowd. SID Office did their work, and it payed off on a big level.

Beat a bad team badly, but as a member of the class of '09, this was the first time I've seen La Salle blow a team off the floor on tv. Good night.

What an outstanding game by La Salle tonight!
This is what a Division I team looks like night-in and night-out, even if they don’t win the game.
No crazy, thoughtless shots, players performing their responsibilities, and low turnovers. Steve Zack did all the little things you like to see your big guy do. Ramon Galloway looked like a man playing among boys. (You don’t want to take away his aggressiveness, but he can’t pick up two fouls in the first three minutes of the game. They REALLY need him on the floor.) John Giannini coached a terrific game. I loved the way he rotated the players, altered defenses between man-to-man and zone, had the team eat clock at various points of the game, and kept Galloway eligible. Duren and Mills were terrific.
The team looked much better late in the game than they have, like Giannini got them enough rest – and the bench players didn’t really hurt us while they were in for the starters – and the starters looked much fresher at crunch time.
Maybe Penn State isn’t some great basketball power, but it was a nice win all the same, and over a Big Ten school.
Northeastern next, up at their place!

Dont want to rub it in but not like a starter padding stats; freshman who never plays and a jr who rarely plays; tell them not to do it again and forget it

Someone help me out here. I didn't watch any of the game, but a boxscore i looked up indicated that Garland got in the game for a few minutes. Fact? I thought he wasn't eligible until 12/15

It was a misprint. Garland will play at Bucknell.
I thought at times last night we could really use him when Galloway left the game and Duren needed a breather. Can't wait to see him in Blue and Gold. Wait to you see his quickness.

Thanks. Next question...how in the world is PSU going to compete against the likes of OSU, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, etc when B1G play starts up for them. Sad state of affairs for that program right now. I know their star is hurt, but you'd think the rest of the team could step it up a bit. Random thoughts...Minnesota is really good this year..and keeping up with them last year in the NIT I think, is quite an accomplishment for this team that was made up of mostly underclassmen. It wasn't too long ago we were slapping our foreheads every 3 minutes after witnessing another stupid play on the court. Now, the only gripe is whether or not the walk on should have shot the 3 ball while up by 20, and time running out....I agree with Screamer comment above. Talk to the kid, and just let it go.
Looking forward to winning out and meeting up with the U to start the new year. I know we have some work to do until then, but the team is jelling. NE isn't bad, and neither is Iona, Siena and Bucknell. Need to keep the mojo going and not get complacent. We beat Northeastern, do we get any votes in the polls next week? Maybe a couple?
