Jay Wright leaving Nova?

Totally unconfirmed but I just heard from a reliable source that Jay is stepping down at a new conference tomorrow. Please Google and you will see the unconfirmed reason. Anyone know if this is true?

The Temple football coach is leaving for Boston College. I have not heard anything about Jay Wright. I would be surprised if he left.

that is not fair. this is only my first post on the new board. posted several times previously on the old board and furthermore i said that this rumor is unconfirmed. clearly i am not the only person hearing the rumors as google has pages of rumors and i was looking for more info from the usually knowledgeable board members.

No harm in posting fun rumors; but should not post the unreliable, hurtful or malicious rumor, especially dealing with one's personal life. If the rumor was he was being fired for losing to LSU-thats fun; infidelity is hurtful and frankl, even if true, why do other folks care?

The good "docta" merely stated that if you google something there are some really unbelievable web postings, no more no less. Cut him some slack, he didn't come here and start tarnishing a mans reputation, he only pointed out that there were people out there doing so. I can only imagine the field day on the SJU campus with this one, couple in the fact that the Cats play Temple and their holier-than-thou fan base and I'm sure out students' USA chants will pale in comparison to what they say to Jay tomorrow.

i am not sure what i beleive haha i would be very surprised if he leaves but his contract does end after this year i think

Yeah, this was a widespread rumor. Had I not been in the middle of a 200 mile drive, I would have started the same thread.

Yeah, it was clearly a rumor that already had gained momentum elsewhere. And the question mark in the subject line indicates the poster was just passing along a rumor, and he wasn't even willing to post what it was. I have no problem.

Good thing this rumor is false. It would be a shame if he left now that G figured out how to beat him!!!!
