The standard formula ...
(.25 * Team Win Percentage) + (.50 * Opponents' Win Percentage) + (.25 * Opponents' Opponents' Win Percentage)
Unless you're dedicated to having all teams' records updated at all times, its not worth calculating yourself.

Hey Coz
Don't post a follow up question to which the answer already lies above.it demonstrates that you aren't even reading the threads.

Actually the first part, i.e. the team's own W-L pct, must be adjusted for home, road, or neutral courts. A home win counts as 0.6 win while a road win counts as 1.4 wins. Additionally, a home loss equals 1.4 losses, while a road loss counts as 0.6 loss. Neutral court games all count as 1 win or loss. Clearly it is to a team's advantage to go on the road if they can win a reasonable pct of those games.

so then technically we are 4-1.4 for a 0.740 winning %.

So basically the formula was written to force Syracuse to travel out of conference, huh?
