Tickets are only $7 (General) to $10 (Lower) to $12 (Chairback).
The arena is 40 miles (roughly an hour) from La Salle University, to the north and east only seconds away from where I-95N meets 295N. You can get there in 30 miles/50 minutes from Montco area. I am not sure about parking, can anyone who's been there provide any advice?
I was concerned about tickets. Several games this year they have marked down 1650 on the box score. Their capacity was recently reduced to 1,650 from the original 1,900. On a weeknight game vs. La Salle, I am hoping to maybe get a walk-up. Thoughts?

I went up there 2 years ago. I called ahead for tickets. I don't think that there were any fees involved, just the straight ticket price and a will call pickup. So I'd definitely call ahead.
It's a nice little gym and a cool atmosphere.

That's why they call it the Broncs (sic) Zoo!
Thanks for the tips.

A group of us wanted to sit together and had someone order tickets from Rider. The Ticket office doesn't send you tickets but sends you something with a bar code. You have it scanned at the Will Call window and they then assign you your seat. Still don't know if we will all sit together.

It's a nice little gym and a cool atmosphere. New ticketing system since the last time you were at Rider. $12 reserved seats end up being $15 each after the service charge. Weird setup where they send you barcoded e-tickets which need to be taken to will-call where they'll give you your actual ticket. riderathletics.ticketleap.com/rider-mens-basketball-vs-la-salle/

Just a FYI to anyone who is thinking walk up sales. Rider is honoring a bunch of athletes at half time and most of their families are going to the game. I know personally there are going to be a bunch of people there that don't normally go to bball games. I know because my parents are going to be there and with limited seating you probably should buy ahead of time to be safe.

OK... we're definitely doing the group thing. You can't beat HALF PRICE of an already cheap ticket. So let's do it.
I'm selling at $5 per seat and 2 for $9. This includes the ticket fees! Get on board by messaging me your email/phone you can be reached, or RSVP below if you're already in my contacts. I must get 8 responses by Wednesday morning to ensure this is still happening.
Seats will be general admission only, so I'm going to advise we get there at 6:30 to be able to get across from the visitors section. If will email the barcodes then collect the $ through paypal (preferred) or at the game. If you link paypal to a credit card there is an additional fee, but linking it to a bank account you can transfer the $5 at no additional cost.

I'm really hoping that my offer of half price tickets, albeit general admission, could sway anyone who's on the fence.

How is everyone feeling about tomorrow's game? According to realtimerpi.com (Score - La Salle 72- Rider 71) and Kenpom.com (Score - La Salle 73-Rider 71) projections; it looks like this has potential to be a real close game. How do we match up against Rider?

I'm heading down to the game tomorrow with my son. This will be his second game after seeing us beat the Hawks at the Palestra in 2009...

That was great game. La Salle just kept Joe's at arm's length the whole game.

I am rescinding the half price ticket offer. It is within 24 hours before the game, and no one has reached out to me for tickets. I didn't say you had to sit with me! I was just trying to save everyone some cash.
There are many critics on here of the way the admin runs certain promotions. After seeing the response levels I have gotten on here for stuff and $10 off tickets, it is no wonder they don't fill the buses and the seats. I can't blame them anymore. We are a dedicated group but we are too small and everyone is in it for themselves, there is no rallying of the support.

Hykos, I don't get the hatred towards LaSalle fans. Some people have young kids, some have to travel for work, its hard for people to make an away game against Rider. Why would you use this game as the measuring board of LaSalle interest?
The program has some work to do before it draws from the casual fan, heck it still has work to do to bring alumni back. I really don't think this is the time to get passive aggressive.

I agree. Rider is only 25 minutes from my house (yes a little further than my ride to LU) but tonight my daughter has dance class, my son will need help with homework and my other daughter is still in diapers. The concept of, "hey honey I'm going to take a ride to go watch La Salle play Rider onight so good luck on the home front" doesn't really fly. If they were playing someone of note like say, PSU, it wouldn't be as much of an issue but likely still need some coordinating and at the end of the day probably not worth the aggravation and stress of coordinating mvoement with my wife. Honestly, the best thing to happen for me and the PSU game was that it moved to 9:00.
Winning that game on Saturday was big, so was winning the homecoming game because both games were full of alums and will probably help bring more back when the league games start. The rest of the games it's hard to fault anyone for not making arrangements to go see Sacred Heart or Northeastern. Saint Joe's wasn't even sold out last night and you'll hear people argue they are the most loyal/rabid fans in the city. Coupled with the fact that a lot of people need to make tough choices on how they use their money and dropping $50 at a La Salle game may not work for everyone.

Yeah, I can't fault anyone for not going tonight. If you're close enough to get to Rider easily tonight, you're probably also in an area where it's not too tough to get to Gola a bunch of times a year. More power to anyone who's going, but given the level of opponent, and the next game being a big weeknight game at the Palestra, this is certainly not a game a lot of people had circled on their calendars.
I am going to the Northeastern Game next Saturday. Pretty excited about that.

Don't get me wrong, i would love to go to every game. However, once the schedule was out I sat down with it and circled the games I knew I wanted to attend and then had to review those for any conflicts on my own calendar(s). From there I was able to figure out which games I could actually make that i really wanted to make, but I didn't even buy any advance tickets because I have had scenarios where I thought I was free and clear and then something came up and i couldn't go. Bottom line is, once you have young kids it becomes very difficult to make it to very many games.

That was great game. La Salle just kept Joe's at arm's length the whole game. Pretty close game early on, but I remember Rodney taking over about mid-way through the first half and although we never really put them away, they never made a really strong run after that. Beating them a second year in a row felt like such a huge step, too, because it showed that we had really moved up competitively in the city.

Does anyone feel like this is a game we could lose? I am very nervous and hope that Lindsey doesn't go off for 30 tonight. Please, someone give me some facts or realistic what ifs that we can we this game. Line is only -3

I think we could but I don't think we will. They're similarly built in terms of being guard driven but, with the exception of Lindsay, you have to assume ours are better.

Line is up to -4 now 71% of public betting on La Salle. I think we win and cover...CCSU game was not that long ago and these guys know Lindsey enough to know they can't take the night off. Plus, I like that we have two solid defenders that can lock him down even if they have to switch on a screen. Lindsey turns it over a TON right now and beyond him the roster doesn't overly impress me. I also believe there has been enough time since the Nova game for these guys to get their heads back. It won't be pretty and the first half will probably be closer than we want but with 5 mins to go I think it will be a safe lead. Looking forward to seeing if Duren and Galloway keep shooting the ball well. Eventually those guys are going to get their averages up.

Not many games are gimme's for La Salle. This is the same team that has lost to Fordham and CCSU in their last 10 games.
Anything is possible. It isn't only happening to La Salle but many other programs across the country.

Anyone else going? I'm in. If there's a ticket around would like to grab one. If not, I will box office it and look for La Salle fans.

We want to do a separate Game thread, or just keep this one for the actual game?

By no means do I feel this game is a gimme - as you said it's happening all over, there is tremendous parity in men's hoops at the moment. Other than the top 5 teams there is minimal difference between # 6 and #100.
I like the match up for us though and think we should win. The line is probably about right, but if Galloway and Duren get their shooting stroke back they could jump out early and then hold on... Like the UDel game.
