Good Saturday of Hoops...
Richmond 21 VCU 34 at the Half. Richmond doing La Salle imitation from the GW game. VCU looks real good but of course painful to watch because we gave that game away last Saturday.
Hopefully UMASS takes care of business against City Line today.
GMU at St. Louis
GW at Dayton
Big 5 Nova vs Temple. Secondary game to flip to during commercials while watching LAS today.

We're going to use this for February, and the regular season games in March. In other words, up until the A-10 tournament.

So if Temple beats Nova and we beat SJU during the game designated as the Big 5 contest we have a share of the title?

SJU of Penna 41 UMASS 25 UMASS in position to come out on fire in second half. Never fails when I watch City Ave they play well. Would not mind if SJU (PA) doesn't beat a ranked opponent until 2020.

I don't expect them to be ranked after their third loss. Old ranking, but I guess it still counts as a ranked team.

What's greasier Martelli's dome or Kellog's hair?

What's greasier Martelli's dome or Kellog's hair? Totally unfair question.

On one side, I'm glad the "Finally UMass has returned to glory" train is firmly derailed. Was good for the A10 though, and they'll be poised for a rebound game against us unless this slide continues.

Looks like Derrick Williams has left Richmond. He was having a subpar season but he's been a killer against us the past few seasons. Should helps us out on 2/22.

Cedric Lindsey done for the season with a knee injury. Sad to hear a player go down who was having a spectacular season but this helps us when we play them.

Bad break for Richmond. Between those two guys that is 24 points and 6 rebound per game. A lot of minutes.

So if we beat George Mason, does that make us better than UMass?!

George Mason won by 11 at UMass tonight. This is not a misprint!!! UMASS has not really been playing well since conference play began. 4 losses, number of close wins - but of course they convincingly beat us. Just shows you that something is really wrong with our team.

Mason up on SLU 73-72 with 0.9 left. Jett at the line, missed the 1st, now hits 2nd.
Tied at 73. OT. SLU is living dangerously lately. And Mason is like 9 total points away from being 7-4 in the A-10.
Joe's held on by 3 over URI. Bonnies over Duquesne by 4. Last night, GW dealt a body blow to Richmond.

St. Louis all but wrapped up the 1 seed with a win over GW today. They are 12-0 and everyone else has at least 3 losses. They still do have to play VCU and UMass on the road, so I doubt they get through 16-0, but they will win the Regular Season title.
Hawks win handily over Fordham to get to 9-3. Dayton over Duquesne, URI over the Bonnies in Olean in a slight upset.
