After reviewing the box score from the Hartford game two things stand out. First, 18 for 29 from the line, a whooping 62% is not acceptable. Against a better opponent this could bite us in the backside. Second, 19 tornovers is definitely not acceptable. I really thought this team had done a better job of not turning the ball over during the last half of last year and the first couple of games this year. One game is not a trend. but we would be wise to monitor those stats to get a better baromitor of what could bring this team down.

Totally agree with the foul shooting, but let's remember how we shot from the line against UDel... 92% isn't sustainable either. There will be good FT shooting days and bad - hopefully it all balances out.
On everyone's turnover concerns - expect more than last year. The mere fact that we aren't as much of a 4-guard based offense as we were last year, turnovers will naturally rise. It's a give and take - hopefully the additional big men time will transalte into more boards, more put-backs, and better low post defense.
I know Zack only played 17 minutes, but I think he's gonna have to play more in the 25 range when all is said and done.

Delsu, good call out. Our foul shooting was great in the first game. We really haven't had one solid game but it is early in the season.
Here's to hoping we put it all together against Nova.

20 made baskets / 19 turnovers against a BAD team. I have no way of telling but it has to be rare that you beat anyone with just as many turnovers as made baskets.
