Remember a few years ago and forever before it, if we had a double digit lead at the half, you could guarantee it would be halved by the 12:00 mark at the latest?

69-52 us with under 4 to go. Duren with a 3 and then deflected pass that hit them to go out of bounds to probably seal the game.

Not to come down too heavy handed, but next time, would you vet the website a little better before recommending it? I downloaded what they recommended to try and watch the game and got all kind of crap and malware. I have to take my laptop to my IT guys in the morning to have it swept clean.

C'mon. If someone sells you a Rolex for $25, you're not allowed to go back later and scold him because its a fake. Caveat emptor with those sites.

Welp, came about ten games late, but we finally began to look like the team we've all expected since day one, even if it was against Wagner.

I should have told people to exit out of the ads around the player. I assumed people knew that. You don't need any software too watch it, I guess because I knew I didn't think about it. Sorry about that!

Really happy with the performance tonight. We shared the ball well, rebounding was excellent. 43% from the three, THANK GOD. Totally unselfish tonight with the ball. Tonight was a huge confidence boaster especially for the guards. Now lets go to Miami and take them down with the team that was on the court tonight.

I was the poor sucker that paid for the a10 all-access out of fear of this happening. unfortunately i can't vouch for there being any worthwhile La Salle content except for the live games there. You can't even re-watch the games there. good luck with the comp.

I bought a used $75 ebay computer so I can watch firstrowsports, vipbox and the other questionable sites without worrying about what happens to the computer. Also, comodo has a good free firewall that generally blocks anything really malicious. I've had it for over 2 years and sure I pick up a virus from time to time but it still works. As for the team, apart from Villanova so far this is one of the more disappointing Big 5 seasons in recent memory. Lets hope this game against a not terrible Wagner team is a start.

I know Wagner is pretty bad and all, so this definitely needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but it was nice to see the team finally make some 3's. It definitely helped spread the court and give the big fellas some room to operate in the paint. Hopefully the 3-point shooting becomes contagious. www.broadstbeat.com/2/post/2013/12/big-men-power-la-salle-past-wagner.html

Wagner is pathetic. That said, am encouraged. Moved ball crisply and I thought more shots were taken in the flow of the offense.Liked what Sam and TG brought. Clearly, Z was very solid.Play with confidence. Play our game. Be OK.

Post game... "Shooting is shockingly contagious," Giannini said. "It's unbelievable how contagious it is. I really believe that."

pretty neat! Thanks for posting. I was starting to forget what we looked like when we hit some outside shots. It would be great to begin to turn this thing around. Losing is twice as bad when you like the guys on your team.

It was evident for the start that G wanted the team to have more energy. The first possession had the best movement by the players and ball I've seen in a long long time. Then we get seven rebounds and hustled.
It's seems like forever but La Salle made 9 3's. Again G must have emphasized in practice to be aggressive offensively. Take the shot when you can. We've seen players reluctant to shoot and pass up shots. I think you could see Duren's confidence start to come back. Garland took shots in the flow. Sam Mills played one of the best games EVER in my opinion. He was more aggressive, took 3's, mid-range shots and even took the ball to the basket. That's the Sam Mills I thought we would have when he came to La Salle as a highly touted guard. Now we need it for every game.
The bigs were outstanding. Wright might have just a left hand but man is that lethal. Everyone knows he's going to use his left and he still powers up to the basket. Zack was great on the boards and had a ton of blocked shots.
Good job by officiating crew last night. Tim Kelly was former La Salle Golf coach. Had his wife and three little daughter's at the game. Lots of nice pictures I'm sure. When have you ever seen a ref go into the stands and let his daughter bounce the game ball or get hug from his daughter when leaving the court at halftime. Hey it's La Salle and it's Christmas time.
G seemed to be using the "hug 'em and love 'em" approach. It worked last night.
