Jerrell out with a concussion. Should be back soon.
Khalid Lewis has a fracture in his hand. Could be back at start of the season. At most 6 weeks.
Jordan Price and Cleon Roberts are both players. Roberts looked terrific tonight.

Saw the practice but had to leave unexpectedly shortly after the reception began. Team looked pretty good. Should be a good season. Feel good about next year too. Stukes, Roberts, and Price can all play.
At the beginning of the reception, they ran a short promo video for a retrospective DVD about last season. It is called "Sweet". They were taking orders for it after the reception.

I'm sure they'll use a lot of the behind the scenes stuff and I was told there would be some interviews on it as well. Can't wait until it comes out. |

New walk on looks just like Ricky Rubio.
Tony Washington came for the reception, man he is tall.
Steve smith was there with is kid(s). He looked great.
Stukes looks like he hasn't even hit puberty yet. Might still be time to grow a few more inches. He is going to be legit.
Cleon was very impressive.
G mentioned bringing the streamers back for the temple game.
The food was great, A+ desserts.

Above everythig you could feel the general happiness from the fans, coaches, players, and administration with the program.
The mood was real fulfillment which is very new to many who have followed the program.
The quality of the kids we have is off the charts!

I love the feel-good nature of everything, and Season tickets may be the only way to get a ticket at all this season, save for a couple of the crappy opponent games over Christmas break
But I need more insight to Jerrell's condition and definitely into Lewis' hand...come on people!
If those guys can't play on 11/9, what was already a difficult matchup is going to be tremendously hard to overcome.

As others have said, it was the biggest turnout ever. I have been to several of these events in the past, however,
I thought this was a first class run event. The athletic department staff should be applauded. Spoke with Harris Adler and he described
Jerrell's concussion as slight. He explained that Jerrell was in the lane trying to take a charge from Amar and after contact he
fell backwards and hit his head on Steve Zack's knee. Spoke with Khalid and he said three more weeks with the cast. Told him
how I cursed him when he dropped 18 on us two years ago at Delaware. Since I live in Delaware, told him he doesn't know how much
that hurt me and he better make amends this season. He took the kidding in stride and said he really like being at LaSalle.
Some said they didn't see any physical changes in Jermanie, but I thought he dropped some weight and looks better than
last year. I think Cleon Roberts will be next years Ramon. Jordan Price was wearing Jerrell's #25 and at first I thought
he was Jerrell. He is very thick for a wing, think of a thicker Earl Pettis, but he can do the same things.
Finally, I have the privledge of knowing our UnderArmour rep and he said they have something special planned for Nov.12th ESPN Tip-Off day
when we host Quinnapiac. Should be fun.

Brother Mike also mentioned that they will be breaking ground on the business school in the spring. He also mentioned that a new rec/fitness center is in the works and they hope to break ground on that in the spring as well, but that it might be a little later than that. I believe that is going to be where the faculty parking lot is on the Olney Ave side of the library.
