The La Salle women's soccer team A10 regular season unbeaten streak reached 20 (17-0-3) before ending yesterday in a 1-0 loss at George Washington. The streak had been among the longest on record since the A10 formed in 1993. Below are the longest streaks that have occurred in A10 conference history.
1. Charlotte 2007-10 (23-0-2) 2. Dayton 2008-10 (20-0-1) 3. LA SALLE 2010-13 (17-0-3) 4. Dayton 2000-02 (19-0-0) 5. UMass 1996-97 (18-0-1)

Need to win A10 conference tournament to secure third straight NCAA bid now.
Offense has been a struggle all year. GW had only two SOG and made one which was all they needed. Tough match on Sunday @vcu.

I like your analysis but La Salle has two of the three best strikers in the conference and they have targets on their backs, day in and day out. I don't think it's fair to say the offense is a problem yet. take your lumps and move on to the next one. BEAT VCU!

What is it 22 goals in 13 games (14 in 11 games if you subtract the two blow outs over Drexel #143 and Loyola MD #273) with some of the best offensive talent in the league as you pointed out? One goal in last three games. That goal was against a team with 3-7-3 record and RPI of 216. No surprise that Hayccok and Washington have targets on their backs but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Just like MBB will soon find out.

Yes, the offense has experienced some periods of drought. However, a discussion about soccer offense should be taken in this context: GOALS GP No. Avg/G 1. DAYTON 12 26 2.17 2. LA SALLE 12 20 1.673. VCU 11 20 1.82 4. ST. BONAVENTURE 11 19 1.73 5. MASSACHUSETTS 12 14 1.17 6. RHODE ISLAND 12 14 1.17 7. FORDHAM 12 13 1.08 8. DUQUESNE 10 12 1.20 9. SAINT JOSEPH'S 12 12 1.00 10. GEORGE WASHINGTON 9 12 1.33 11. GEORGE MASON 12 11 0.92 12. SAINT LOUIS 13 11 0.85 13. RICHMOND 12 9 0.75

A tie at VCU is a good result. Beating that team twice last year away from home was a stroke of good fortune but a tie with a team of that caliber on the road is no disappointment. The Explorers move to 1-1-1 in conference with St Joe's up next, Friday at 5pm at McCarthy stadium.
The guys team moved to 2-0 in league with another victory today. They take St Joe's in the second part of a home doubleheader at 7:30 Friday.
I am glad that our rivalry day with Fordham has been replaced with St Joe's teams on the schedule. This doubleheader is probably the most anticipated night of the regular season for soccer fans.
