schedule so far:
18 atlantic 10 games home: drexel (big 5 classic), bucknell and southern indiana (duke mte), iona, howard away: temple (big 5 classic), duke (duke mte) neutral: either villanova, penn or st joe's (pa) (big 5 classic at the wells fargo center)
that's 26 games. i assume the wagner, binghamton and lafayette games were buy games and we won't be heading on the road to play any of them. la salle can play as many as 31 games so that's 5 left to schedule. holding out hope that cincinnati will give us a return game since they have a roman catholic hs kid on the roster.

They're not going to. Games are being scheduled at Gola and have been this entire time.

How can you play a game while creating the bowl? Wasn't that the first thing they were working or am I mistaken?

How can you play a game while creating the bowl? Wasn't that the first thing they were working or am I mistaken? You're operating on your own perceived timeline, not one that has been announced. There is no official timeline or even an unofficial one announced. Hopefully there will be soon and we can stop blindly speculating, but they are scheduling a seasons worth of games at Gola this year.

Hopefully there will be soon and we can stop blindly speculating but that's kind of our niche here and a way of life for Explorer fans

My read of it is that they need "a shovel in the ground" in November, IF there is a reno, which probably doesn't equate to anything impacting arena use for the season.

I know that's an expression but it would be funny if that's the way La Salle actually tried to get around losing the money. By literally just having a shovel in the ground next to the arena and a sign that said "Renovations in Progress."

What is more of a waste...Memorial Fieldhouse (1949) or Hayman Hall (1997) renovations. These things just don't cut it. Neither seem to be able to fill it.

Louth knows the story of the original 6,800 seat Hayman Center renovations that ultimately got shot down by Joe Burke. How different would the program be if they completed that renovation in which the GC, a La Salle grad agreed to do it for his cost?

Rocco Miller @roccomiller8 · 3m Miami will host La Salle as part of its 23-24 non-conference schedule, per multiple sources.
The date is set for Saturday, December 16th in Coral Gables.
