Latest Bracketology has the A10 as a 1-bid league with Dayton getting a 2 seed. If they run the table and win the A10 tournament, I could see that as a 1.
VCU is a "First Four Out" with a NET of 40 and RPI of 54. Richmond is a "Next Four Out" with a NET of 54 and a 34 RPI. Interestingly, Rhode Island has a NET of 52 and RPI of 22 but isn't mentioned...maybe because Richmond has 2 Quad 1 wins and Rhodey only has 1, and Richmond beat Rhode Island head-to-head.
St. Louis and Duquesne took big NET hits this week with losses...down to 69 and 72. Unless they can steal some wins, they are firmly in NIT land.

Guessing the Hawks are wishing they hadn't let Jameer Nelson Jr. slip away when they fired Martelli. shot 8-10 including 3-4 from 3 with 22 points and 6 boards against them yesterday. He probably will get A10 Rookie of the week with a performance like that.
Looks like Duquesne's chance for an at-large bid just took a nose-dive with a loss to UMass yesterday.

Duquesne plays no one OOC. They are somewhat like we are, finding out playing cupcakes out of conference to build the record can come crashing down when the conference is so strong and you start playing good teams every night.
They are a level above us right now but a very similar situation. It think Dambrot has done a great job there but needs to rethink his scheduling.

Richmond is in. VCU and St. Louis are outside looking in. Bless the team that beats Dayton. I think it ends up being URI.

Not seeing Richmond in over VCU since the Spiders have a bad loss to Radford, but VCU's losses have all been to schools with 50 or better NET ratings. Guessing them playing on Tuesday gives us the answer though. The game is on CBS SportsNet at 7:00

Dambrot also has 0 home games to work with this season. So he played more road games, presumably to get home ones next year with the arena upgrades. When you know you have a young team and some growing pains, can't blame him for playing some easier games to get them figured out.

Rhody is running VCU off the court in Kingston. Rhody leads by 22 at the half and has 15 more rebounds than the Commodores.
