Would be neat to draw K-State & Ole Miss. But we'd land Northern Iowa & Western Kentucky.

Anyone but Miami. Don’t want to get blown out by 50, or go 2-25 or 0-15 from 3.

Anyone but Miami. Don’t want to get blown out by 50, or go 2-25 or 0-15 from 3. Average margin of loss --- 25 points --- in the 5 times we played them since 2012-2013. Last time we met before that, 1970-1971. We should take another 40 year break.

Miami is a thorn program. We seem to go where they go. That is a tough field for us to compete in but good exposure and destination to sell to recruits.

great job by the school, ad, and coaching staff to get la salle into one of the more high profile tournaments. first step in building a schedule to give la salle a chance to get into the postseason.

We should be able to at least compete against these teams next year, with Clifton Moore eligible, Jack Clark hopefully available, and only losing 2 seniors. Right??? Right??

There is a great website (www.barttovik.com) for stat geeks like me. They have their projections for the '20-'21 season based on essentially the Pythagorean theory ( there will be a refresher course later) returning production.
They have La Salle #13 in the A10 next year but before you start to scream. They have us ranked #141. GW is #14 at 232. The league will be more competitive next year. 13 of the 14 teams in the top 150. Also they have not factored in Brickus or Izay.
So based on the current rankings this is maybe how they seed the Cayman Island Tournament next season just for fun?
#1 Miami FL (28) vs #8 Oregon State (159) #4 Ole Miss (67) vs #5 Kansas State (72) that brings back memories
#3 Western KY (66) vs #6 La Salle (141) a long time rivalry renewed. Durrett vs McDaniels too. #2 Northern Iowa (52) vs #7 Nevada (151)

Neumann and I have had a long fascination with Western KY's mascot, this would be the weirdest culmination of events. Sign me up for Big Red and the Hilltoppers

Sign me up for Big Red and the Hilltoppers They just got a commitment from the 6th ranked PG in 2020. EDIT - Rothstein says kid will stay 2021 and not go to 2020. I have heard and seen different. Kid had legit offers from Kansas, Maryland and Seton Hall.
