Yesterday, the 71er Nostalgic was buried in Lancaster, PA. He was a wonderful guy, a true Philadelphia sports fan, and a loyal friend. (71er's et al).
He was a true blue La Salle fan. He traveled to many Explorer games. He did not post often. His last post was a pic of his avatar - Larry Cannon.
Nostalgic received his Ph.D. in history from the University of Virginia. I am sure that he enjoyed UVA's winning the NCAA title early last month.
Rest in Peace, my friend.

Knew him only as a poster. But, so sorry, my condolences.

I bought tickets off of Tony for the Nova game at Gola during Rodney Green's freshman year. He was a good guy. It stinks too lose a member of our community.... Condolences to the guys on the board who were close to him.
