Saw that today and wondered if we would get involved. I liked him when I saw him and I would guess he has plenty of suitors.

Is this a Sit 1, play 1 situation? No thanks if that's the case.

I guess unless he could claim hardship. could also graduate Cincinnati papers say it's not a graduate transfer. Looking at the stats, his first two seasons were lackluster but last year was a breakout. He's a potential double-double guy. For analytics guys he's off the charts for Win Share/40, ORtg and DRtg.

Cincy board seems to dispute that, at least a little bit.

He's a really solid player I just don't know given Howard's system if you need two centers on the team. Certainly doesn't hurt but we need shooters.
If he was immediately eligible that would change my thoughts.

There are two ways you can look at it for Brooks. Go to a big player and contribute or go to a small player and be a superstar.
Two different paths to being noticed. Don’t know if he’s A10 superstar quality.

if I recall correctly he is on a different level from any big we have defensively and he played on a really good team that shared the scoring load. He’d make a huge difference in terms of wins and losses and his stats would be much higher here than any other school on the list. That would be A10 star status IMO

Coaching change and all that, I have to imagine BJ’s success transferring down doesn’t hurt here.

Probably easier to get hugger level pro looks if your resume says 19 points, 10 rebounds and A10 first team and A10 All Defensive team. We can give him the minutes and opportunity to do this. The other teams recruiting him can’t.

Looks like we are not a factor with Brooks:

The other teams recruiting him can’t. I know what you mean. But is that better than national coverage if Miami, etc go deep in the tournament. Each and every NBA scout is watching that intently - either in person, tv, or tape.
