Need to aggressively drive and dish for open looks
Standing around a 2-3 zone with no movement or screens and then chucking bad shots will not work fellas.
Hopefully Ash made some major halftime adjustments

Nothing from Pookie or Shaggy. We are 10-20 because these guys sometimes just do not show up. We need them to step it up. No more chances for Pookie. It is today or never. It's been like this most of the season. He might have played his way out of Europe.. Which is a quite amazing thing to say considering how he was positioned over the summer.. Really spoke to how important BJ was last season.. Not to say we didn't appreciate him or take him granted but boy having him as the #1 really allowed Pookie to play up... BJ's game against URI at Gola last year might have been the most complete, impressive game I have ever seen a La Salle player have in 20 years..

That play with 14.5 seconds is everything wrong with Shaggy's game. How do you let a 5"10 guard dictate getting to the rim in such a small space? He is 8 inches bigger than Fats and he tries to get a meek charging call which he was obviously moving. Very underwhelming also.. His playing style / on-court personality is just not consistent with the type of guards and players that Ashley has experience with and with how he said he wants his players to play.. This is Ashley's transition year.. The incoming roster turnover, I think, will speak for itself...

This is Ashley's transition year.. The incoming roster turnover, I think, will speak for itself... Next year will be 2 of his guys (Beatty + Spencer) and 3 true freshmen, no? At best you start the real analysis in Year 3.

I don't think next year is going to be much better though - talent/size/aggressiveness really isn't there.

This is brick laying at it's best. Is hitting the side of a backboard considered a brick?

At the game hoping these guys go zone because they are getting killed on pick and roll with Langevine...and nobody is in double figure

Just got out of a meeting at work and checked the score...not even competitive! That's disappointing. This team showed flashesthis year and I hoped they would get better as the season progressed, but between this and Dayton. YEESH.

Pookie and Shaggy 2 for 17 and 0-9 from 3.
Just awful.

FINAL. URI- 76 La Salle-57
....well we didn't handle it ourselves, and unfortunately leave it in the hands of the committee. Gonna be a tense few days until Sunday evening.

This is something that's been bugging me for a while now.... Why don't the walk-ons have names on the back of their Jerseys? Absolute bush league horseshit.

Hot Take: This was not a good game “Go-to” guys needed some “get- up-and-go” Next year will be significantly better, but that’s relative to a 10-win season

We still need to build a roster.

Pookie was too streaky in my opinion. This team needs more consistency on offense. Too many games of 50+% FG one time and then 25%FG another so on paper the 40% FG looks good on paper but my thought is that consistency builds momentum for teams.
They could be less talented next year for sure but maybe more consistent

Pookie just shot 1-14, 1 assist, 1 TO.... And the only reason he got to the foul line was due to Langevine's T.... He was a guard that didn't get to the line enough, particularly when his shot wasn't falling.

Well, Deas simply did not show up in the second half. I don't like that out of someone who should be a leader next year.

I seriously question who on this team is capable of becoming a consistent, double digit scorer heading in to next year. (We actually need more than one to emerge). We also need to hope the incoming players have immediate impact or it's going to be another long season.
