We'll use this for February and through early March.
January was actually a pretty good month for the league in terms of at least putting a few teams in the At-Large Discussion. I'll continue to hope the top of the league performs really well (taking any games against La Salle out of the equation), and hopefully go into Brooklyn with a team or 2 in good shape for an At-Large.

At a quick glance, there is not a whole lot of quality Out of Conference wins by any of the A10 teams. It'll be tough to get more than 1 at large. Davidson appears to have the best shot at an at large right now.

Looking at the new NET ranking system, it is going to be tough to get more than 1 in with these numbers and only in-conference opponents left. Have to hope a team other than VCU wins the conference tourney. Davidson will essentially have to win out to get an at-large with that ranking. Looking at their schedule, it's fairly easy the rest of the way other than Dayton (having said that, they will now likely lose at St. Bonaventure tonight...game on ESPN2 at 7PM) TEAM | NET Ranking | VCU | 53 | Davidson | 67 | Dayton | 93 | St. Louis | 109 | Rhode Island | 125 | George Mason | 127 | Duquesne | 159 | St. Bonaventure | 161 | St. Joes | 172 | Richmond | 197 | UMass | 211 | La Salle | 239 | George Washington | 245 | Fordham | 257 |

Am I reading the stats correctly that no A-10 team has beaten a ranked team this year?

A big reason why I LOATHE the 18 game league schedule.

Looking at Lunardi's Bracketology, he has Mason in as a 14 seed (I guess based purely on conference standings), and VCU in his first 4 out. Obviously a lot of basketball still to play, but I think this would be the low point of the A10 to get one bid at a 14 seed.

2020: Are we a one bid conference? 2021: Are we a one bid conference? 2022: Are we a one bid conference? 2023: Are we a one bid conference?

At the moment I'd say our best chance at two or three teams making the Big Dance involves Davidson winning out til at least A10 semis (lot of games, but favorable schedule), VCU winning most of their remaining games and reaching the A10 finals (iffy), and the field running the table in Brooklyn.

As much as I despise Saint Joseph's of Pennsylvania, I think their remaining schedule and their handful of losses to date will work in their favor that it won't come back to bite them.

If they lose to Bonnies tonight in Olean, they are probably out of the running.

I still have a feeling if someone outside VCU wins the A10 tourney two teams get in the tournament this season. I can see how only one team may get in but I just don't see it happening unless VCU collapses.
Just looking forward around the league the A10 is going to be absolutely LOADED next season. Nearly the entire league returns 80% or more of their production. Obviously, this all depends on who transfer out but there should be very high expectations for the A10 next season. Hard to remember a year where the league was this young up and down the conference.
Josh Cunningham(Dayton), Pookie Powell(La Salle), Javon Bess(SLU), Courtney Stockard(Bonnies), Rashaan Armstead-Holloway(UMass), Tramaine Isabell Jr.(SLU) and Otis Livingston(Mason) are the only top players in the league graduating.
Duquesne doesn't have a single senior or junior on the team. VCU graduates a role player in Gilmore. Returns the rest of the roster. Davidson only losses Ekwu who only plays 7 minutes a game. Dayton probably losses the most in Josh Cunningham but returns the rest of the roster. URI only losses Preston who is also a role player. GW doesn't graduate a single player.
Nearly every team should take a step forward next season outside of Saint Louis and maybe George Mason.
Just something to keep in mind as A10 fans panic about the state of the league.

Watching the Bonnie’s and Davidson.
Kyle Lofton is a stud. Never knew Osun was begging G to take him at La Salle. Plays both ends of the court and makes shots.

Yeah..I tuned in right at the start of Bonnie's 15-0 run when they showed the feature on Osun's wingspan. Wow. Lofton is on fire. Looks like they may be putting Davidson's at-large hopes to rest.

Not the A-10 but Virginia Tech just beat N.C. State 47-24. Yes, not in football but basketball. We thought we had bad shooting games. Incredible.

Latest from the only Hawk whom I respect: Joey BracketsVCU a 12 in at-large play-in game Davidson a 12 as auto bid Most interesting to me is that Davidson would be a 12, which suggests if they were not an auto currently, they'd be in the middle of the bubble.

They're in DC for 2021 and Brooklyn for 2022 (furthest one out that they have announced), then they'll be due again for their couple of Carolina stops. Barclays must have cut us a nice deal so they wouldn't be completely vacant.

A10 Men's tourney sites announced - Back in DC for 2022, and we're repeating the failed Brooklyn experiment for 2023 & 2024. This post makes me wish there was a "dislike" button on here. I really miss the A-10s in AC. I want to enjoy an annual Pic-A-Lilli Pub cheesesteak at 2:30 on Thursday afternoon, right after we get bounced. Also, for the record, the "Boardwalk Bash" (or whatever they called it) was a good time this year. Plus, it seems like it really turned our season around. In a misguided and pointless form of protest, I will just have to continue visiting AC instead of the A-10s.
