I know who had more team success despite similar position.

Yeah, you can add bonus points for team success but demeriting the individual for overall record is insane. I don’t think so. Galloway is revered because he took the program over the top. Great players do that. They make everyone better. Stukes was a mediocre players who did nothing to elevate his team.

So BJ instead of DJ holds that 2013 team back?

So BJ instead of DJ holds that 2013 team back? Stukes was a point guard. Great point guards make their team better and their teammates better. Stukes did neither. I can't believe we are debating this. He is gone. I should not have just not jumped in but can't help myself when I see people who push the Stukes was a good player narrative. He was bottom half of the point guards in the A-10. That is really all anyone needs to know.

Now we're in our mid-season form... Amar Stukes discussions always end well.
But seriously, I'm with Joe. Have loftier aspirations than Amar, regardless if you think he was good or not. He was never anything special.

I'll take a PG who's a steady-Eddie that commits fewer than 2 TOs a game while leading the team in minutes, improving his offensive production each year, and leads the team in steals his final 2 years any day of the week. He averaged 1 TO every 20.5 minutes over 4 years. By contrast (playing weaker competition in the MAAC and without a National Player of the Year to feed the ball to), Overton averaged 1 TO every 12.9 minutes.
