Not sure how Ken Loeffler got the La Salle job? His career at Yale and then one year at Denver don't look good on a resume. 70-97 in 8 seasons. Leaves La Salle for the big bucks at Texas A&M and bombs badly (13-35). I guess he was fired after two seasons and never coached again.

I don’t have time to do the math but excluding 2012 and 2013, what percentage of seasons did G finish .500 for the last 20 games. I’d bet it’s a double digit number or close to it so this team is not even in this conversation. Nice turnaround and a lot of bright spots. With some work and maybe a grad transfer next year could be really exciting with
3 returning Bigs
Clark and a stretch 4 in Stone
Deas and Spencer
Phiri and Ray
Beatty, Carter, Hikim, and Moultrie(?)
Plug in an athletic 6-7” grad transfer and this could be a top 5 A10 team.

Let's not forget that G started his tenure at La Salle with 2 time A-10 POY, Steven Smith. Ash started with a lot less talent based on this year's A-10 all conference awards.
