I gotta say after reading the widespread love for Rasual it’s given me a different idea of what I think about a journeyman. Anytime someone says that they are basically saying it with a level of negativity as if it’s a bad badge of honor to carry. Just the sheer amount of people Rasual clearly had an impact on wouldn’t have happened playing for one team. That old saying about things happening for a reason certainly seems to apply here and how he was able to be a positive influence on so many

Rest in Peace Rasual and Leah. I'll always remember that World Religion 'core' course (taught by a priest from Camden NJ Diocese, early 2000's, can't recall his definitely Irish surname, great instructor) we had together and sampled Dr. Rudnytzky' stuffed cabbage (holubtsi/golabki) platter in class one day. Gone too soon but remembered by all with love and respect.

Wish his number had been retired before this, hopefully now its just a matter of logistics.

It's "mourning." I think it looks bad for a national university to send thing out to the public that are grammatically incorrect. Sorry for getting off topic.

Great reflections by Coach Donnie Carr. I am glad to have this insight into how he thinks.

The more I read, the more it hurts totally agree. Also, in a lot of ways it's sad that we (at least myself) didn't know how well respected he was around the league until he passed.

It is very disappointing that there aren't patches or tape, or anything of the like honoring the passing of Rasual.

Yes, but it's not entirely surprising that they weren't able to get something together. We're talking about a program that wore practice jerseys to its opening night game once, back when I was in school.

Public service on Sunday, February 11th at Tom Gola Arena. Visitation 9am and Mass at 11am. Links to Facebook posts sometimes disappear and the desktop won’t let me share a screen grab cause it’s too large. Excuse me if this goes awry.

Very nice moment of silence prior to the game. Thank you to SJU and La Salle programs for both teams standing in a single line across the court. Also to both cheerleading sqauds for the "4" and "5" in pom poms. Very nice. Thank you.
Very touching to see four of Rasual's relatives wearing four different NBA team jersey's. I hope some one took a picture and can share.
Today's Inky has a sad picture of Donnie standing for the moment of silence with tears flowing down his cheeks.
RIP #45 and Leah.
