We paid for G's daughter to go to Drexel at our expense... not the ROI we expected. He has to be terminated now. GTFO. Donnie is our coach starting today. Leave G kids out of this.. Now Clarification: The point wasn't about his kid. It was that we've kept G too long. Time to cut our losses. G was surprised by a lot of things last night as he stated in his post-game press conference... time to give him another one today.

Yeah. If you strip away the Ramon years : G has had two "apex" years in a row. Last year with Price and Roberts as seniors with addition of BJ and Pookie. Ridiculous coaching and I still believe G ruined Cleon with that "should have had him fired" never ending psychological assault tirade. This year with BJ and Pookie seniors, a senior year center, a senior Amar, and "vastly improved if decent coaching" Phiri and Deas. Then sprinkle in Shuler and Brookins. In-game and game-prep coaching is one thing. The TOTAL LACK of "improvements in individual game" of the players is something else. I'm also tired of seeing people like Jay Wright and Dunphy act like adults communicating with their players during games in a teaching manner while G acts like a demonstrative child with his arm waving, yelling crap. Pookie is a junior, athletically speaking.

This is clearly Giannini's way of reminding everyone this Christmas season that there are things more important than basketball. What a good guy. "I am shocked - shocked! - that there is basketball being played in this establishment."

Doing less with more is a winning prescription. Not sure I buy the recruiting above La Salle level reference. I’ve never been impressed with the in-game coaching but I think it’s pretty clear our talent level is on par with Drexel, Holy Cross, Towson and Penn, among others. And that’s with the benefit of our 2 best players being transfers and despite a conference affiliation that is at a higher level than those programs You can’t argue with results. No matter how effective or ineffective the coaching, the team with better players usually wins. In most games, La Salle does not have better players than their opponent, and that has resulted from the lack of recruiting success. lack of recruiting success. Don't agree, we have had several above average players who are better than CAA, MAAC. They play in a bad system.

If Jay Wright multiplied into 14(?) different but equal Jay Wrights and time traveled back to re-coach every A-10 team over the last decade, is there any doubt La Salle would improve the most of any program? The talent is and was there, that's never been the issue. Of course, we probably don't make that Sweet 16 unless we also got his fluke year

Gotta be near rock bottom when even Angry Al has resorted to commenting in the Inky more out of sorrow than anger...
ANGRY AL an hour ago This is sad. La Salle hasn't even started league play yet and I'm at the point where I barely look at the results already. I weep for my alma mater.
