I hope I'm not jinxing the ladies. But they're tearing up the A-10. They're 6-0 in conference and have outscored A-10 foes by a count of 24-4. All of their losses were 0-1 affairs.

If you get a chance to see a half of a match before they're done in less than a month, please go. It's been a very entertaining 2017 season. The 4-0 smackdown over Dayton was the most dominant and thorough a match I'd seen in quite a long time, against the team that was picked to be preseason first. They also for the first time swept the big five! (Got shut out by Drexel, which itself went 3-0 against the Philly teams. Fortunately the offense has come alive since that early season letdown.) The defense is always stalwart.
The 28th/29th of October (to be determined) there will most likely be a home playoff game, as they may clinch a top four seed with another winning weekend against @bonaventure (Thurs) and/or at Home vs Fordham (Sun Oct 15, 1pm).

Explorers wrapped up a first round home game with their eighth straight win. That will be played on the weekend of Oct 28-29, which also features senior/alumni day for the men's team.
Kind of hoping today's seeding stays intact, as it would be the fourth time in the last seven seasons La Salle got the #1 seed in the tournament (2011, 2012, 2014) and the first round visitors could be 8th place Saint Joseph's, a team that is quite a bit more dangerous than their record. It took overtime to put the Hawks away in the first meeting at City Line so they'd be a tough rematch.

With the 2-2 road tie of George Mason, La Salle has clinched the one seed / regular season title (share, at least) for the fourth time (2011, 2012, 2014, 2017). Also, they have a chance to clinch the title OUTRIGHT with a tie or better, on Sunday, or a St Louis loss. (Edit: DONE and DONE!)
The #1 seed La Salle will stay HOME the weekend following (Saturday, Oct 28 at 1pm) to host a first round playoff game with the #8 seed (Edit: Dayton).

Maci Bower puts one goal in off a rebound in the third minute. Dayton's first shot was saved and it remains 1-0.

La Salle shut the door on Dayton, 3-2. On to face Duquesne next on Friday 2pm, that'll be at VCU but again free streaming. Duquesne needed 8 periods this season to finally score on GW but it's enough to advance.

On to the Finals! Wish there were highlights somewhere. Sounds like it was a great Semi Final game against the Dukes. A very good woman's soccer program just keeps getting better. Keep up the great work Coach Royal!!!
