Recruiting is one piece of the puzzle, yes. I'm saving my kudos for what must be a second or third big five win in the last seven years. After all, when Coach Williams was coming on board he did not promise a winning season but he did promise we'd at least be more competitive.

This team will have to work out a way to either split or sweep Cindy Griffin's Hawks. Their 3-0 sweep is the thing that kept La Salle out of WNIT consideration, in my opinion. La Salle did get the wins at Dayton and at Penn for the first time in awhile. This year's grudge matches with the Flyers and the Big Five at Gola will be interesting for sure. This is one of the odd years where La Salle gets 4 home games from the big five (a total scheduling malfunction that I've never been too fond of).
