The men's team has their very first match today in a tourney down in Annapolis- best of luck to the team! I know less about water polo than almost every sport we offer except maybe field hockey but I'm anxious to see them compete.
Looking at the roster it is almost entirely freshmen but also almost anything except local, maybe 3 kids would be local and most are west coast so even though it's small overall it's probably 10 kids that otherwise would not have come the La Salle.

I didn't realize Men's Water Polo was a Fall Sport, and Women's was a Spring sport. Kind of weird.
They got their first win this past weekend against Cal. Tech. I'm kinda into it, Water Polo seems like a cool sport, which I admittedly know nothing about.

I rolled my eyes when the press release about water polo was issued, and I was both wrong and ignorant. Your observation, luhoopsfan, is spot on. Further, the facilities were in place and travel costs appear reasonable with all tourneys within driving distance. Addng water polo looks like a smart move. Finally, a shoutout to my fellow Hallman, Jeff Brady, on his 13-goal performance over the weekend!
