That sucks that they are getting you for $8.95, and that they don't offer fox sports south. I pay $5 and I'm getting the game through TCN down here in D.C., if I'm not mistaken.

I think I'm also getting the game on TCN on Wednesday. Is TCN not showing the game in the Philly area? I would think it would, they advertised the Wednesday game during the St. Joe's/Drexel game.

The game is not being picked up by Comcast in Philly.

TCN is showing the UPenn/Butler game that night, after a riveting half hour of "Inside Israeli Basketball."

No reason you can't watch it online if you live in PA or NJ, though. ESPN 3 restricts access to a lot of games, especially in the home markets of the teams playing, so at least we have that. I know I can get this game in Connecticut.

I was told that in order for CSN or TCN in Philadelphia to televise the Miami game, they would have been forced to buy the entire Fox Sports ACC game package. If they had already purchased that package, La Salle would have paid Comcast to pick up the feed like they did with the Siena game. It's understandable that Comcast in the D.C. region purchased the ACC package since they cover Maryland.
Being a FIOS subscriber, I have access to ESPN3 so I'll just be hooking the laptop up to my TV and it will be just like watching a game on ESPN. I believe all local Comcast subscribers have the same access to ESPN3.
Regarding the game, even without Reggie Johnson, Miami is formidable inside with two very athletic 6'10" guys in Kenny Kadji and Julian Gamble. The key will be to get at least one of them in foul trouble because their other big men don't have much experience.

I think Direct TV subscribers in the Phila area can also get this game. They have a number of Fox Sports stations shown on the Phila channel guide between channel 644 to 670 and I think Fox Sports South is one of them.

TCN Philly should pick it up. Penn at Butler is on 7-9pm then they have some stupid Tennis program from 9-11pm.

Maybe if we were Temple, they would have budged because Temple has people and people = $. I am thrilled they at least picked up Penn State and Siena, presumably these games were cheaper as they were not affected by the ACC blackout restrictions.

In DC, Comcast SportsNetPlus is picking up the game and yes it is due to the ACC package.
And, yes, I am not complaining...

Miami is favored by 6.5 tomorrow night. Vegas is thinking Miami is still a strong favorite even without Johnson. The home court helps big time.

I agree. Give me the 6.5 because I think La Salle wins outright. Line opened at 6.5 now moved to 5. Smart money going to La Salle.

I also think we win outright. I'm surprised the line is that high in Miami's favor

Although Johnson is not playing this will be a very hard game to win considering Miami is still a good team, they are at home, have lost two in a row and it is one day after New Year's. We can win if we have less than 12 turnover's, shoot minimum 38% from three land and don't get into early foul trouble with Zack and Wright. Don't forget this Miami team destroyed Charlotte at home and handily beat Mass away. Like I said a tough game to win.
