I am on my phone so I can't provide a link but South Carolina's Demetrius Henry has committed to La Salle. 6"9 athletic big with a lot of potential. Another top 150 kid.
Another great get by G.

@jonrothstein: BREAKING: South Carolina transfer Demetrius Henry told @cbssports that he has committed to La Salle. Two years of eligibility remaining.
Wow. Did anyone see this coming? Do we have another Sweet 16 worth of talent on the roster again? Practices are going to be interesting. Can't wait to hear about how our 3 transfers are looking. Happy 4th everyone!
A couple of thoughts: G is a relentless recruiter. Love the name Demetrius. One of my favorite movies when I was a kid was "Demetrius and the Gladiators". (Victor Mature) Hope.
I hadn't checked the board in a few days because things were deader than a door nail around here. This is definitely a nice surprise. He looks like he has some nice upside. Looking at his stats, his FG % increased nicely from his freshman to his sophomore year. He also looks like a decent offensive rebounder as well. He was also named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll. Looks like he can go to his left or his right.
Negatives are he got into foul trouble a lot plus as someone mentioned, he along with another player were suspended 9 games. Frank Martin, the coach, said he would revisit the suspension come SEC tournament time. Martin chose to leave them home from the tournament.

Great footwork and length and a definite defensive presence. Even a nice looking outside stroke (highlight reels tho). Garnett indeed. Also well spoken, seems like a smart kid, but you have to be curious about last years suspension. G has kept his players in line for the recent past so I would expect this to be a minor thing.
Not to downplay this year but practice is going to be fierce and G really has his guys in place for 16-17. Word is he will be going 4 guard and I wonder how much that has to do with roster rather than choice of O. systems. Let's see what he can do this year changing the offensive system and getting added minutes from Rohan. 16-17 has depth at every position so it will be interesting to see if the scheme stays the same.
Energizing stuff.

Hope you all enjoyed your forth. Still recovering here....
G continues to surprise me. Great addition to the team. La Salle should be somewhere in the midpack with a little added depth in each position we are primed for a big season in 16-17. FINGERS CROSSED! Hopefully this addition puts a hold on criticism's of G's recruiting.

Quite a complex moral argument... I will need to research that to comment. I'm just glad to pick off great players who committed to sec schools due to the name recognition and don't see any commitment in return as players.

I can't stop watching this video. Is that seriously when he was suspended? No shock that he transferred and I don't blame him. Didn't Martin run off players in his last gig at K-State? Also, this from his bio on Wikipedia...
During the 2013–14 season, Martin issued a public apology to fans and players on January 21, 2014, after a verbal tirade during the team's loss to Ole Miss. On March 6, 2014, USC Athletic Director Ray Tanner suspended Martin for the final game of the regular season for further "inappropriate verbal communication" with players.
