That is terrific. I was told recently that if you make an NBA Summer League team it opens many more doors internationally.

There's no guarantee yet that Steve will be on the summer league roster. He was invited to the second mini-camp and will have to make the cut.
Good luck Steve.

I saw on Instagram that Ramon Galloway is playing summer ball with the Bulls. I'd love to see him make the League.

He had a great year abroad this year and showed he could develop his skillset at a higher level. Great to hear that it he is being recognized.

Ramon would be better off on the Knicks, where he'd probably be the 3rd best player on the roster.

Although Zack was a DNP in the Vegas Summer League game last night I enjoyed Knicks color man Clyde Frazier's insights. Classic line was that Sixers Kazemi was from Iran "a country that has been in the news lately". Move over Bill O'Reilly. Here comes Clyde.

Maybe he can get revenge on the bald center from the Latvian national team that tried to trip Randy Woods in an exhibition at the civic center 25 years ago

In a side-note, Marshall Henderson of all people got signed by the Sacramento Kings. It's not a guaranteed deal as he has to make the team.
I know the Kings are a dysfunctional mess. But man oh man, it is completely insane that some gunner who wasn't really all that good and played zero defense is getting a serious look. And it's more nuts that Ramon -- a better shooter, athlete, passer and dude who could d up on the college level -- is in Italy. And on top of it, there's the whole "Marshall Henderson has some major maturity issues, to say the least" argument compared to Ramon's "I had to overcome way more in my life than any kid should ever have to endure" story.

Marshall Henderson wants to play in the NBA. Ramon wants to make money, preferably in the NBA but maybe somewhere else. Long term, unless there is a guarantee, you gotta take the cash.

Just because Ramon never signed a deal (guaranteed or not) doesn't mean he wasn't given the opportunity. Ramon probably passed on it knowing he'd have more security and likely make more money overseas if he bypassed the NBA. Reggie did the same thing...

Aren't the Sixers tied to the Kings draft pick? I hope the sign every dysfunctional player out there.
As for Ramon, no doubt he can play in the NBA, but the other risk he has is if he signed with a team he would run the risk of only getting a few minutes a game and risk long term value here or overseas.
Can't imagine he couldn't play for the Knicks though but I think he would ruin their plans of sucking
