Didn't really know where to put this... Jon Rothstein ?@jonrothstein 11m11 minutes ago La Salle will face Miami at the Palestra on Tuesday 12/22/15, source told @cbssports. A new thread was proposed for this Miami business. Regarding attendance, we went to Coral Gables twice in 2013 (Jan and Dec) so both seasons were over winter break. Announced attendance was 3,200 and 4,800. There could not have been 4,800 people at the second game in late December. I parked a block away and got my ticket on a stubhub site for $1. The U is an NIT runner up, and are expected to return stronger next year, so it's a great OOC draw for us as they are expected to qualify for the Big Dance, so long as their loss to La Salle doesn't keep them out!

Home: Miami (The Palestra),Temple,Hofstra,Towson,Drexel Away: Villanova,Penn A10: 18 games
Hopefully there will be a 3 or 4 game exempt tournament which will only count as one game, but there doesn't seem to be many openings left. If they do get into one, that would leave two open games. Haven't heard anything about those. If they don't get into an exempt tournament, that would leave 4 open games. Maximum number of games is 29 if you don't get into an exempt tournament. You're allowed 30 or 31 if you do.

Not a terrible schedule so far.
I would imagine Towson and Hofstra will be decent CAA teams. Both return most of their rosters from last season and add a transfer or two. Drexel is going to be awful as I would imagine Penn as well.
Temple, Villanova and Miami will all be strong teams.

I like the Miami game...I like playing Drexel as they are a city team, but I don't understand playing 3 Colonial teams...in this case, I'd cut one of Hofstra or Towson. As kjmac said, I hope they get into an exempt tournament. If not, it would be nice to see a West Coast trip...

I posted earlier this year that G is looking to schedule a game in the Atlanta (within 2 hour drive if necessary) and Miami FL areas for Price and Roberts. Could be next year or the year after.

I assume they are two year, home and home deals. You can't just "cut" them unless you're willing to buy out the contract. Hofstra should be very good this year. They went 20-14 last season and have most of the team back. If we're fortunate enough to beat them, that will be a quality Top 100 win.

Could lose that by a lot. Also, Eagles host Shady McCoy and the Bills at 1 pm, so I would guess this game would be later in the day.

Last time I heard they were trying to fill one more game onto the schedule. It would appear to be a home game.

So far the schedule looks like
11/14 Towson 11/17 Rider 12/2 Hofstra 12/13 @ Nova 12/19 Temple (Palestra) 12/22 Miami (Palestra) TBD Drexel TBD @ Penn
So we can add two more games since there is no tournament unless I am forgetting someone.

Pretty favorable if you ask me. Getting VCU and Saint Louis at home and once is a boost.

Without full play-by-play notes for every game and practice in Prague, I don't feel that I can make an educated guess at the standings.

The conference schedule looks pretty good although I hate having to play Dayton twice. They should be good again this year. I would have rather have had just one home game with them.
